The study would investigate the influence of four dimensions of corporate culture (teamwork,
open communication, reward and recognition, and training and development) on employees’
organizational commitment in Pakistani organizations.
Corporate culture has been an important theme in management and business research for the
past few decades due to its potential to affect a range of organizationally and individually
desired outcomes such as commitment, loyalty, turnover intent, and satisfaction (Chow et al.,
2001, K B and Veeri Arumugum, 2006). At present, there is very little empirical literature on
corporate culture within the context of the Pakistani corporate industry, particularly on how
organizational commitment among employees is affected by corporate culture dimensions
Thus, this research would aim at examining whether the application of four dimensions of
corporate culture—teamwork, open communication, reward and recognition, and training and
development—results in an improvement in employees’ working conditions or not, thereby
contributing towards their organizational commitment.
For this research of survey, various studies conducted were previously analyzed that show
that corporate culture has a specific impact on employees’ organizational commitment. So,
the main objective of this research is to analyze how corporate culture influence employee’s
work commitment and performance in context with Pakistani environment.
