There are no differences between packet switched (PS) and circuit switched (CS) data calls. It has been observed that drop calls occur similarly for both during mandatory inter-radio access technology (iRAT) handovers. For PS calls, the Cell Change Order command will be found on the Iub interface instead of the Handover from UTRAN command, but the rest of the procedure and cause values remain the same.

There are no differences between the situations of the PS and CS calls.
It should be mentioned that it has been observed similar pattern of drop calls while an iRAT HO was declared mandatory by the radio conditions. So, the Cell Change Order command will be find on the Iub instead of Handover from UTRAN command for the PS calls. The rest of the procedure and cause values remain unchanged.
