PERSONAL STATEMENT
I am Physical Education and Health teacher, graduating in 2018
seeking employment within the education sector. I am highly motivated to build leadership and life-long
learners with a passion in inclusive learning for all students. I believe students should feel empowered
and active in their learning through a diverse range of educational experiences. These should allow
students the courage and passion to change themselves and the world around them.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

UoA Placement 2017
I was an active member of the PE and Health department, taking a 0.8 workload, attending department
and House meetings relating to professional development, assessment moderation and curriculum
matters. I was also asked to help relieve when short staffed (while under supervision). I was assistant
coach to the Senior Girls First XI, helped coach the Junior Girls Second XI and refereed home games
at Selwyn College. I continued with this role after the practicum ended.
