7. (a) Diagrams A shows the parallel rays of light directed towards the concave mirrors, P
and Q. In each diagram, C is the centre of curvature, CM is the radius of curvature of
the mirror and F is the focal point of the lens.

sectional area of 0.15 m2 and 0.5 m2 respectively.
