Soviet Leaders: Where Did They Go Wrong?

Instructions: You are to research the policies and outcomes of those policies of a Cold War
Soviet leader. Each leader can only be chosen once, so raise your hand and call out your
leader when your group has decided. Below are the roles that each group member will follow.
Choose your role wisely, as your group will depend on you for completion of your part of the
project.

Roles
Researcher: You are responsible for finding 3 primary
sources and 2 secondary sources about the Soviet leader
that you have been assigned.

Artist/Creative Director: You are to make sure that the

presentation is organized, crafty, and visually
appealing. Create a poster or PowerPoint presentation
to outline your Soviet leader.

Questioner: You are responsible for creating 5 questions

to ask the audience after your presentation. You can
make this into a paper quiz or ask your questions
verbally.

Writer: You are to make certain that the one-page

report is grammatically correct and is written concisely.
