Understanding Fee Payment:
If this is your first time submitting an appeal here is what to expect: If your appeal is submitted by the priority deadline and you had
financial aid deferring the payment of your tuition and fees at the time your suspension was posted, your tuition and fees will continue to be
deferred until a decision is made on your appeal.

If you did not have financial aid at the time your suspension was posted, you will either need to pay your tuition and fee bill or enroll in
Valencia's Tuition Installment Plan (TIP). If you do not do either, your classes will be dropped for non-payment.

If you register for classes, you must attend them in order to be considered eligible for financial aid.

If your appeal is denied you are responsible for any unpaid tuition and fees. Please contact the Business Office immediately to make
payment.

Due to the large volume of appeals submitted, it may take several weeks for all appeals to be reviewed. Once a decision on your appeal has
been made, you will be contacted within 24 hours through your Atlas e-mail.

There are three required items for this appeal.

Failure to include these items will result in an automatic denial.

An education plan(s) signed by an advisor. Each student appealing for financial aid must meet with an Academic Advisor, Counselor, or
Career Program Advisor. Bring with you a print out of your My Education Plan (MEP) or plans if you have a primary and secondary
degree, so your remaining credits can be verified. The My Education Plan can be found on Atlas under the My LifeMap tab. Please visit the
Atlas Access Lab or an Academic Advisor on our campus for assistance.

requirements yet, and provide any documentation available to support your reasons. What actions have you taken to make sure you
