Scene 1

Description: Binabasa ni Director of Philippines yung reports bawat branch. Iinom ng kape tapos
mabibilaukan nong napunta na sa page ng QC branch. Tatawagin si Secretary.

Director: (inuubo pa) Secretary! Secretary!

Sec: (papasok) Yes, Sir?

Director: (recovering) You reviewed this, right? DO you know what happened sa sales ng QC?

Sec: Ah, yes, Sir (flips something on her memo board). Actually, I was about to inform you that the QC
Site Director called me.

Director: And?

Sec: He is very aware sa very low performance nila. He needs your help daw po. Labor problems.

Director: (facepalm) So anong silbi ng HR nila?

Sec: Wala po.

Director: (tingin ng masama kay Sec) At talagang sumagot ka, ah. Thats a rhetorical question.

Sec: Sorry po. (nag-bow)

Director: Tell *new HR* to come here now.

Sec: (exit)

Director: (nag-everwing habang naghihintay) (bgm: everwing)

HR: (dumating after few minutes) (bukas ang pinto) (makikita niyang busy si boss tapos nasilip niyang
nag-e-everwing to) HI BOSS! (sigaw kung sigaw)

Director: (gulat) What the heck! Kumatok ka naman.

HR: Nag-e-everwing ka pala, Boss? Gusto mo sumali sa group chat namin? Everwing players. Laging
may boss raid. Daming perks---

Director: I didnt call you for that. I want you to come to QC branch to fix things up. Labor problem daw.
Perhaps, yung din yung reasons why they are underperforming for three months now.

HR: Does this mean Ill have another increase? (smiles goofly, wiggles eyebrows)

Director: Only if youre successful.

HR: Consider it done, Boss. (hero posing) (bgm: superhero) Anything else?

Director: Ah. Eh (hesitates) Pwedeng isali mo rin ako sa everwing group na sinasabi mo?
HR: (while leaving) All right!

Scene 2:
Description: Ipapakita muna yung chaos sa office. Tapos dadating si Site Director kasama si New HR.
Ipapakilala ni Site Director si New HR, pero babalik din agad sa kanya-kanyang ginagawa yung mga tao.
After nito, mag-o-observe na siya.

Supervisor: Pahinging kape!

Employee 1: Tinitimpla na po.

Employee 2 and 3: Nagchi-chismisan tapos titignan si Employee 1: Sipsip talaga yan.

Employee 4: (umiiyak) Bakit niya ko hiniwalayan? Roberto! Bumalik ka na sakin please... Hindi ko kaya
nang wala ka.

Employee 5: (nagse-selfie) Ay oh, kabog ang kilay ko dito! (ayos konti then selfie ulit)

Manager: (lalapit kay Employee 5) Hoy! Ano yan?! Abat... Gawin mo nga yang trabaho mo!

Employee 5: (itatabi yung phone tapos kunwari gagawa na) (nung wala na si Manager nag-selfie ulit)

Employee 6: (tulog)

Employee 7 to Employee 6: Uy! Yung pinapagawa ko nasan na?

Employee 6: (lutang) Pinapagawang alin?

Employee 7: Yung advertisement proposal! Kahapon pa yun dapat ah, nasaan na?!

Employee 6: (maaalimpungatan) Ah, akala ko naman kung ano. (balik sa pweston patulog) Wag kang
epal. Di ikaw boss ko.

Employee 7: E kung isumbong kaya kita? (di na papansinin ni Employee 6)

Employee 8: (nagnenail polish) Tsk tsk tsk. Sumbungero naman pala this boy. Tignan mo nga! Wala nga
silang pake kung hindi tayo nagtatrabaho, oh.

Employee 7: Ewan ko sa inyo.

Employee 9: (kanina pa kumakanta nang sintunado) (matatamaan ng nilukot na sticky notes) Aray ah?
Tumama tuloy sa pimples ko.

Employee 10: (tahimik na nagtatrabaho)

Employee 11: (nambu-bully; binu-bully si Employee 12 and 13; binabato ng papel tapos tumatawa)

Employee 12: (bato pabalik ng papel)


Employee 13: (walang pake)

Site Director and New HR: (enters the office; walang nakapansin)

New HR: Holy crap!

(during ng following convo, tuloy ang chaos ng office)

Site Director: Ito yung sinasabi ko. Nag-resign na mga HR namin dahil sa kanila. Gusto ko na sana
silang tanggalin lahat kaso mas mag-u-underperform naman kami.

New HR: Oh, I see. So medyo malayo pala sa ineexpect ko.

Site Director: Yes, I know. And sobrang nawawalan na rin ako ng pag-asa sa kanila. Imagine, our branch
have been like this for more than 3 months now. And Ive tried looking for solutions. In fact, weve been
conducting seminars para maggain sila ng knowledge tungkol sa job nila. Pero hindi naman sila
nakikinig, yung iba nga halata pang napipilitang pumunta.

New HR: (nag-aanalyze, tatango-tango) Sige. Sige. I will do my best.

Site Director: Guys! I know you guys are busy (sarcastic). I need your attention.

Employee 12: (to Employee 11) Oh, attention daw! (batok)

Employee 11: (papatol pa dapat kaso maghehesitate)

(yung ibang employees mapapansin lang yung presence ni Site Director pero tuloy pa rin sa kanya
kanyang buhay, pero minimal na yung noise)

Site Director: (sasamaan ng tingin) Again, everyone, give me your attention.

Everyone: (tumahimik, pero tuloy si Employee 8 sa pagnenail polish, tuloy si Employee 10 sa ginagawa
sa laptop. Parehong pasulyap sulyap lang sa Site Director)

Site Director: I would like to introduce you our new HR, *name*. Though he/shes an HR, he/she will
stay in this office.

New HR: (very enthusiastic) Hi! Im looking forward to working with you! (Itatry makipagkamay or
lumapit sa employees para makipagkilala)

Everyone: (balik sa kanya-kanyang ginagawa)

Site Director: (taps shoulders ni New HR, hopeless tone) Sana magawan mo ng paraan. I know that Im
useless din. I want to resign na nga, e. Pero ayun. I dont know what to do anymore. Im just 24! Di ko
pa kayang maging Site Director. Ikaw na bahala. You have my permission sa everything na gagawin mo
basta its properly documented.

New HR: All right. Dont worry. I got this. Ill fix your sites problem.

Site Director: Sige. Good bye luck. Punta ka lang sa office ko if you need anything. (exits)
New HR: (hingang malalim, ngingiti ng pagkalawak-lawak) What a great day to start. (mag-iisip) For
now, mag-iikot-ikot muna ko.

Narrator: Lumipas ang isang linggo na wala siyang ginawa kundi mag-observe. Pagpatak ng Friday

(pwedeng instead of narration, magkalendaryo scene.)

Scene 3:
Description: Overtime siya. Lights off na. Yung monitor na lang niya nagbibigay ng liwanag sa office.
Sobrang busy niya. Dami ring sinusulat.

New HR: (busy mag-google at magsulat; maraming print-outs sa table niya; cracks knuckles; inom kape;
repeat the cycle)

Narrator: Nilunod ni New HR ang kanyang sarili sa pagre-research ng mga paraan para makagawa ng best
plan suited for the development of the Marketing Department employees.

(magriring ang cellphone)

New HR: Bebeloves! Oh my bebeloves, namimiss na kita... Nasa office pa rin ako eh... I am looking for
different strategies para madevelop itong mga employees... Alam mo naman na yung tungkol dito di ba?...
I really need to do lots of researches for this to work... Bebeloves, naiintindihan mo naman di ba?... Sorry
na, di ko naman nalilimot ang ating First Weeksary sa isang araw eh... Babawi na lang ako please, I love
you... (maging pabebe)

Scene 4:
Description: Start na ng development. However, magre-resist yung mga tao. Mga tinatamad. Magagalit.
Magwo-walkout. Tatahimik. Darating si Site Director. Papagalitan sila.

Chaotic pa rin. Just like scene 2.

New HR: (enters) Good morning, guys! (naghihintay ng maggi-great back sa kanya pero wala) Guys?
Err (kamot ng ulo; hinga nang malalim; clears throat) Guys, can I have your attention please?

Everyone: (walang pake)

New HR: GUYS!

Everyone: (tingin sa kanya)

New HR: Okay. Simula dumating ako rito, I already started my work. I observe your work, attitude,
environment, and all. Ang dami kong napansin. And now, I am here to develop you. Be it attitude, skills,
career planning, everything. Who wants to go first? (raises hand)

Everyone: (tinginan)

Employee 8: Do we really need that? Ang dami pa po kasing gagawin kaya I think its unnecessary.
Employee 7: Oo nga. In fact, we dont need development kasi we are the best in this company naman.

Employee 10: And we are doing our job naman. Hindi rin naman bumabagsak yung branch natin.

New HR: (taas ng kilay)

Employee 2: Tsaka sayang lang sa time yan.

Employee 1: And nagkaroon na po kami ng seminars noon. Umattend naman po ang lahat.

Employee 6: At nakakatamad.

Employee 5: (turns her back tapos nagpatuloy sa pagma-manicure)

Other Employees: (bumalik na rin sa kanya-kanyang pinagkakabusyhan; maingay na ulit) KAYO NA


BAHALA DITO

New HR: (stands still; after a minute of observing them, nagsalita) Fine. If thats what you want, so be it.
Bahala kayo sa buhay nyo. Sabay-sabay tayong bumagsak at matanggal sa mga trabaho natin, okay?
Good bye. Have a very nice day (sarcastic)!

Some Employees: (natauhan dahil sa mga sinabi ni New HR)

Employee 7: (mapapatigil)

Employee 10 at 8: (magkakatinginan)

Employee 6: (innocently stating the obvious) Nagwalk-out si Maam...

Employee 3: Duh, malamang nakita namin.

Employee 1: Hoy, magsiayos na nga kayo. Napagalitan na nga eh.

Employee 9: (pabulong) Hay, pabida talaga.

After 30 minutes

Site Director: So ano itong narinig kong reklamo ni New HR? (malakas boses; galit)

Some employees: Uy, guys, si Director! (pabulong)

Site Director: Alam nyo bang galing pa siya sa Makati Branch? Alam nyo rin bang karamihan sa
empleyado ng Makati Branch eh pioneer at isa si New HR don? Alam nyo rin bang isang proposal lang
niya kay Director of Philippines, pwede nang isara ang branch na to? Nakakahiya kayo. Ganyan din
ginawa nyo sa mga dating HR, di ba? Uulitin nyo na naman? Gusto nyo ba talagang mawalan ng
trabaho?

Everyone: (tahimik; yung iba nakayuko)


Site Director: Yan! Dyan kayo magaling! Wolf in sheeps clothing, eh? Mahiya naman kayo! Respect
him/her! Comply with her orders. Hindi lang naman para sa company ang gagawin niya. Kayo ang
pinakamagbe-benefit dito! (sigh) Please lang.

Few Employees: Sorry po.

Site Director: (eyes everyone; walks out)

Scene 5:
Description: Papasok na si New HR. Lahat ng masasalubong niya sa office magso-sorry sa kanya.
Pagpasok niya sa office niya ngingiti siya kasi nagsisimula nang gumana yung plano niya. Then balik
trabaho na. Titignan niya yung listahan. Uunahin niya lahat may mental and emotional issues.

Same environment sa scene 2

New HR: (enters)

Few Employees: Uy si New HR! (pabulong)

Unti-unting tatahimik.

New HR: (naglalakad papunta sa place niya; poker face)

Employee 4: (sasalubong tapos magba-bow) Good morning po. Sorry po for yesterday.

New HR: (hihinto; ngingiti) Good morning din. Sorry din for acting like that. (maglalakad na ulit)

Employee 1: Hi po! Sorry po.

Employee 6: Sorry Maam/Sir.

Employee 2 and 3: Sorry po.

New HR: (papasok na sa place niya; uupo; ngingiti) So my acting worked? (bubungisngis) Now. I can
finally start my plans. (kuha ng folder; basa ng listahan ng pangalan and their problems) Unahin ko muna
sila *employees with mental and emotional problems*...

New HR: (tatawagin isa isa yung employees)

New HR: As Ive observe, nahihirapan ka to do your job. Is there any problem? (concern tone)

Scene 6:
Decription: May kaunting pagbabago na sa work environment sa office. Isusunod naman niya yung
career planning.

New HR: (enters)


May dalawang employee from yesterday (yung sa counselling) ang babati sa kanya in high spirits.
Manlalaki mata ni New HR. Di niya kasi ine-expect ang mabilis na change na yun.

New HR: (pasok sa place; tingin sa listahan; labas) Mr./Ms. *employees last names*, please come with
me.

(seminar-like setting)

New HR: So for this, I will be helping you guys to create your own career plans. Syempre I know that
you also want promotion, tama ba? And to be promoted, of course, you need to meet certain standards to
be fit for the position. Now, ang nagiging common problem kasi sa isang employee ay hindi niya
naiidentify yung mga dapat niyang gawin para mapromote siya. So today, Ill be guiding you to know
your goals. Mayroong goals to reach in 3-6 months time, merong 6-12 months, beyond 12 months. Then
your long-term goals. And syempre, your personal goals. So after identifying all of those, it will guide
you na rin, and pwede niyo ngayon itong gawing checklist to assess if you are still in the career track na
pinaplano mo. Understood?

Scene 7:
Description: May pagbabago ulit. Last naman niyang gagawin ay yung mentoring/coaching.

Same applies (like 5 and 6)

Scene 8:
Description: Last phase ng development. Open forum sa office. Marami kasing hindi magkakasundo. She
needs to develop the relationship of the employees with each other kasi.

Hindi na ganong maingay sa office. Malinis na rin. Ginagawa na talaga ang trabaho.

(NOTE: IHIGHLIGHT ANG DALAWANG TAONG MAGKAKAGALIT SIMULA PA LANG SA


START. AAMIN SI EMPLOYEE 8 NA MAY GUSTO SIYA KAY EMPLOYEE 7. MAGLALADLAD
SI EMPLOYEE 7.)

New HR: (punta sa harap) Hey, everyone. Can I have your attention, please?

Everyone: (instant tahimik)

New HR: First of all, I would like to thank everyone for participating on my sessions. We are going to
have an open forum today.

Some employees: What?

Some other employees: Open forum?

New HR: Do you remember nong high school or college tayo? Di ba kapag may mga hindi
magkakaayos, nagkakaron ng open forum? We are doing that here today.
Employee 3: Eh? May magkakaaway ba rito? (plastic)

New HR: Yes. (tingin kay Employee 3 nang makahulugan)

Employee 3: Oh I get it.

New HR: I got an approval kay Director of Philippines to do this kaya no need to worry about your tasks
for today. Everyone, gawa tayo ng big circle. Get your chairs.

KAYO NA BAHALA

Scene 9:
Description: Very obvious na yung changes. May teamwork na and etc.

Sa hallway

New HR: I did not expect na magiging madali lang ang lahat kasi nong dumating ako rito, I thought na
ito na ang obstacle na kahaharapin ko sa career ko sa Development.

Site Director: (tumawa) Hindi ko alam kung anong sinasabi mong changes na naganap. Hindi talaga kasi
ako pumunta sa Marketing Department simula nong day na pinagalitan ko sila to see if there are really
changes.

New HR: Youll be surprised. (opens the door)

Sobrang linis. Yung ingay is gawa ng brainstormings, synchronization ng work, teamworks, etc.

Site Director: Am I not dreaming? (rubs eyes)

New HR: Tada!

Site Director: (harap kay New HR; shakes hand violently LOL) Thank you. Thank you. (mga sampung
thank you).

New HR: Huy! Kalma. (tawa) Ginawa ko lang ang trabaho ko.

Site Director: I thought its impossible pero eto na nga. (Kunwaring iyak). Im so glad I cant put it in
words.

New HR: (ngiti lang tapos roam eyes)

Site Director: You know what? Ill write a letter to Director of Philippines for your job well done.

New HR: As much as I want you to do that, I suggest na hwag muna. First lets see if my changes din sa
performance nila. Then, if so, write it na para mag-certify ang increase in salary ko. (goofy laugh)

Scene 10:
Description: After 1 month, isa sa top na yung QC branch sa highest performing branch. May celebration
sa office na sagot lahat ni New HR. Tapos sa kalagitnaan non, susulpot si Director of Philippines. Ico-
congratulate ang lahat. Tapos yung lahat e magpapasalamat kay New HR. Ang lahat ng credits e sa
kanya raw dapat. Tapos papalakpak. Tapos mag-i-speech si New HR. Makikinig yung lahat tapos
matutuwa.

KAYO NA BAHALA.

Scene 11:
Sa office ulit ni Director of Philippines. Akala ni New HR, tapos na trabaho niya. Ang reward is
promotion naman. Tapos aaminin ni Director of Philippines na all this time, dine-develop niya lang ang
skills ni New HR kasi alam niya ang potential nito. Tapos ayun, parang yung sa scene 1 lang. May
superhero posing tsaka superhero background music. Tapos mag-e-end with the background music.
