THE POSITIVE EFFECTS OF BIO-STRATH®
ON THE HEMOGLOBIN LEVELS OF PREGNANT WOMEN
A CLINICAL STUDY
A study was conducted at the Natural Health Care Clinic and Nutrition Centre in Ontario, Canada.
The objective was to determine the benefits of Bio-Strath® on the hemoglobin levels of pregnant
women, as well as its positive effects on the overall well being of expectant mothers.
The study included thirty-one women who were pregnant and in a good state of health. A11
participants were checked for hemoglobin levels and all had levels within the normal range. The
participants were instructed to take a teaspoon of Bio-Strath® three times a day in place of
other prenatal multi-vitamins. Additionally, they were advised to eat fresh fruits and vegetables,
whole grains, lean meats and dairy products and to abstain from cigarettes and alcohol.
Hemoglobin levels were then checked at the beginning of the pregnancy, at 24 weeks, at
30 weeks and at 36 weeks of pregnancy.
PROVEN RESULTS
RESULTS
Results showed that twenty-one of the women
maintained their normal hemoglobin levels during
pregnancy and continued taking Bio-Strath® until
delivery. These women had their hemoglobin levels
checked again at about 3-4 weeks before delivery and
all their levels remained normal. Furthermore, this
select group reported having excellent energy levels
as well.
CONCLUSION
The study confirmed the positive role Bio-Strath® had on
effectively maintaining healthy hemoglobin levels in pregnant
women without the need for additional vitamin and iron preparations
to be taken. It also demonstrated the added benefit that this whole
food herbal yeast tonic offered in helping to increase general well
being and vitality. No adverse reactions are known on taking Bio-
Strath® Food Supplement. Although Bio-Strath® is NOT an iron
supplement, its readily absorbed nutrients (19 minerals/trace
elements including iron in a natural form, 11 vitamins, 20 amino acids
and 11 various vital substances) prove to be both beneficial and safe
to use during pregnancy.
