Community Development Plan

A. General Information
Project Title:_EAT CLEAN, BREATHE CLEAN, BE EVERGREEN

Target Community/Beneficiaries: Barangay 471 Manila _

Community Background:

Barangay 471 Sampaloc Manila has 723 population. This barangay has a lot of fast foods,
restaurants, bars, karenderias and street food vendors. Mainly because it is at the back of
University of Santo Tomas, which they target on getting the students attention to eat at their
said restaurant. Since there are a lot of students wandering around, the problem here is that
their trashes are left everywhere and anywhere they wanted to throw it. Some people also does
it, not only the said students of this university. The main problem is that there is no trashcan
around the said streets. Some are eating while wandering and of course, wanted to throw their
garbage yet there are none. So the tendency here is for them to just throw it on the ground. So
the after effect also, it is one of the reasons for floods to happen easily in the said area when it
rains even for a while. So we came up to this idea on having this project entitled EAT CLEAN,
BREATHE CLEAN AND BE EVERGREEN because of course, no one would want to eat in a
place where it is being surrounded by trashes everywhere and the smell of it that we can sniff
while eating. So we had thought of this title because it is really the best and it really fits the
situation in this area, where everyone here should be eating clean, and breathe clean and be
evergreen.

B. Objectives:

General Objectives: To support and to provide the needs of every person in our society. And
to lessen the problems of this community on their improper way of garbage disposal

Specific Objectives:
1.) To give priorities to the necessities of people rather than desires.
2.) To build confidence and connections
3.) To keep them on track when it comes to having a successful life.
