Congresspersons Blocking on Facebook

--Should congresspersons be able to block people on their official Facebook

pages? If so, under what circumstances should that be permissible? If no, why
not?

I believe that they should not. They cannot block people for being critical and this is a
professional worksite. You have the ability to take the higher road and not produce
conflict. In this circumstance it was not okay for the congressman to block her, although
the woman was being extremely obsessive and irrational.

Congress and Gun Legislation

--Is the Vegas shooting a tipping point in passing meaningful gun legislation or
just another event that creates momentary discussion, but no real action?
Explain.

I believe that it is a tipping point because before people could blame gun violence on
minorities but now they have no explanation for this obvious terrorist attack done by a
white old man. This is causing a major stir of events right now because the white house
is moving at a shockingly fast pace and will pass almost anything that will benefit the
economy.

Walls
--Thoughts?

This is so frustrating. They not only are shutting down 4 square miles of land for this but
they are also purposefully excluding Mexico by only decorating half of the wall (which is
extremely extra as it is). Im just overall very disappointed.

Kaepernick
--Has Colin Kaepernick's protest been hijacked or misrepresented since he
started it over a year ago? Are other protesters doing a good enough job of
reminding people WHY the protest started and taking steps to make meaningful
change to address the issues of police brutality and systemic oppression?

I think they are doing a fine job representing him albeit theyre being a bit excessive with
the lengths theyre going to speak for him. I dont think its warping his message
because he is at these rallies and even has a shirt saying I know my rights. There are
misunderstandings but I feel like those are just the opposed interpreting whats going on
instead of being put in actual words.
