ANNEXURE : I

DETAILED TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS:

The mentioned software is used mainly for the purpose of carrying out
the structural analysis and designing tool for any type of RCC structure
including buildings, high rise towers, culverts, plants, bridges, stadiums and
marine structures. The required technical terms and conditions are mentioned as
below:

(1) HARDWARE:

The software should be compatible and integrated with 1 GB

link computer network connection at SAC, Ahmedabad under
heterogeneous Operating System Environment. The software
should be capable of working on the following platforms of 32 bit
and 64 bit environments.

(a) WINDOWS XP (Both 32 bit and 64 bit) / WINDOWS

VISTA/WINDOWS 7 PROFESSIONAL /WINDOWS
8/WINDOWS 10

(b) MULTI-CORE and MULTI-CPU SYSTEMS.

(c) WORKSTATION.

(2) SOFTWARE:

(a) The latest versions of the software must be supplied for both
32-bit and 64-bit environments.

(b) Software should support standard printer/plotter drivers for

hardcopy prints / plots.

(c) Drivers / Additional software modules must be supplied for

compatibility of model files / results files among various
platforms. In case of non-compatibility such operating
system should be mentioned clearly.

(d) In case of change in modules and bundling of software, the

same should be upgraded automatically to cover the existing
modules and should be intimated the same.
 (e) All the updates shall be supplied in form of non-rewritable
CD/DVD and the periodicity of supply of updates in the
software shall be maximum 3 months or actual time of
update whichever is minimum.

(3) LICENSE RELATED:

(a) Perpetual license should be provided for the mentioned

software. Perpetual life period / clause should be mentioned
in license agreement.

(b) Necessary software for license should be supplied / updated

from time to time in case of change along with software
modules.

(c) In case of breakdown of computer/desktop or upgrading the

computer/desktop the license should be transferred and made
operational free of cost.

(d) The license shall be provided at the

computer/desktop/workstation and not at the Bentley server.

(4) TRAINING:

(a) Full-fledged training and support on all the software

modules that are purchased should be provided.

(b) Additional training should be given free of cost on new

releases and updates as and when required.

(c) Training content and schedule will be decided mutually.

(d) Training can be provided at SAC, Ahmedabad or at

suppliers premises as mutually agreed.

(5) DELIVERABLES:

(a) SOFTWARE for the various Operating System and

Environment (32 bit and 64 bit) should be supplied. In case
of software downloads, the website address with necessary
registrations and passwords should be provided.
 (b) Failure of software downloads due to any reasons; the
suppliers are responsible for supply of the software with
updates and necessary patches free of cost.

(c) Soft copy / Hard copy (4 nos for each software) of the
training material, manuals and tutorials etc., should be
supplied free of cost.

(d) Successful installation and demonstration of the software

should be done at SAC, Ahmedabad without any charges.

(6) GENERAL:

(a) All other terms and conditions related to commercial or any

others are as, per SAC, ISRO, Ahmedabad.

(b) Maintenance and upgrade up to 3 years from date of

installation, which includes technical support will be as per
the purchase order.

(c) The computers are usually connected with Intranet only so at

no point of time for updates or any license related problems,
internet facility for the same shall be demanded by the
software supplier.

(d) The rate includes the cost for two years maintenance after
one year warranty period. However, the payment for the
maintenance shall be made once in the year after completion
of the maintenance period only.
