Surveying Works
The Engineer(CECB) mentioned to finalize the followings,
-Hydrological survey report and CHEC
-Traffic data to complete the pavement design. RDA

Employer (RDA) informed that Traffic data have already been requested

Action items
CHEC informed their inability to start CS survey from 14+390 to 20+400
as the horizontal alignment had not been finalized. CECB

Design Engineer (CECB) agreed to complete the design review and

finalize the matter within one week. CECB

Discussion No 04 Quality Assurance & Quality Control and Safety Action By

QA & QC
CECB questioned about the investigation of quarries and borrow pits
and CHEC agreed to provide an investigation report soon. CHEC
CECB requested to provide 03 quotations for different brands for the
purchase of Laboratory and Survey Equipment.
CECB question about the DCP tests and contractors design engineer
informed that presently available data of soil investigations were not

adequate to do the design. He further suggested to do DCP tests in

CECB requested to submit method statements and design criteria

Safety

Employer (RDA) informed that they had attempted to get the demining
report and agreed to expedite getting the same. RDA

Discussion No 05 Other Matters Action By

CHEC informed that prefab materials had been ordered and material
would be received by the end of October. CHEC

Contractor informed that he had submitted subcontractors quotations

to Engineer for the construction of PDs and Engineers quarters.
CECB informed to CHEC that necessity is to provide only one
reasonable estimate for the approval. CHEC

CECB requested to submit estimate for laying asphalt concrete instead

of DBST for the cost comparison. CHEC

Conclusion & CHEC requested written request for the above matter and CECB
Action items agreed to make a written request. CECB

CHEC agreed to provide a hired vehicle for the use of RE within a

week. CHEC

CECB requested to make arrangements to construct site office at

Mulankavil. CHEC

PD requested copies of Safety Plan, Quality Plan, Test report formats

and Hydrological study report. He further requested to send him copies
of future correspondence. CECB/CHEC

CECB requested to expedite the purchase of computers and software
