I. Abstract

Transformational Leadership style used in theMarawi City its impact on job satisfaction

as perceived by its employees in terms of Intellectual stimulation. Final requirements in

inferential statistics.

Intellectual Stimulation A leaders encourages their follower to be innovative and

creative. They encourage new ideas from their followers and never criticize them publicly for the

mistakes committed by them. The leaders focus on the what in problems and do not focus on

the blaming part of it. They have no hesitation in discarding and old practice set by them if it is

found ineffective.

The survey was conducted at the city hall, Marawi City. The aim of the study is to

conduct and investigate the transformational leadership style used in theMarawi city and its

impact on job satisfaction as perceived by its employees, specifically, the study tried to answer

the following questions: What is the transformational leadership style used in the Marawi city in

terms of Intellectual Stimulation.

II. Objective of the survey

The data were gathered through survey using the researcher made questionnaire. The

survey has sample response of 30 respondents. They were asked 5 questions among the

employees were answered by random employees. Response choses Agree, Perhaps, and

Disagree.

The aim of the study is to investigate the leadership style most likely used in the Marawi

city in terms of intellectual stimulation.

IV. Analysis and Interpretation of the Data

Summary percentage result of the respondents of the transformational leadership style

used in terms of Intellectual Stimulation.

The table shows the responses of the respondents under the Intellectual Stimulation.

Accordingly, the leader actively engages followers for our ideas and criticizes us with

consideration, eleven (11) or 37% of the respondents answered AGREE; nine (9) or 30%

responded PERHAPS with statement, and ten (10) or 33% responded DISAGREE.

Our leader encourages us to think differently in a creative and innovative way, eighteen

(18) or 60% of the respondents answered AGREE; five (5) or 17% answered PERHAPS; and

seven (7) or 23%answered DISAGREE respectively.

Our leader reprimands us even in public if we commit mistakes, sixteen (16) or 53% of

the respondents answered AGREE; eight (8) or 27% answered PERHAPS; six (6) or 20%

answered DISAGREE.

Our leader blame us if the team failed but boosts us to do better next time, twenty (20) or

67% of the respondents answered AGREE; six (6) or 20% answered PERHAPS; four (4) or 13%

answered DISAGREE.

Our leader continues to operate as he has in the past and hesitates to adopt new practices

and techniques, fifteen (15) or 50% of the respondents answered AGREE; six (6) or 20%

answered PERHAPS; and nine (9) or 30% answered DISAGREE.

The output simply says that the transformational leadership style used in Marawi City get

a high negative percentage in terms of Intellectual stimulation.

The table shown are the data gathered from 30 employees of the city hall, indicates their response

through the five (5) statements at Marawi City Hall. A researcher concern, use the f-test at 0.05 level of
significance to the test the null hypothesis that there is no significant difference between the average

numbers of question provided by three choices.

I - Problem:

Is there a significant difference of the transformational leadership style used in marawi city

and its impact on job satisfaction as perceived by the employees in terms of intellectual

stimulation?

II - Hypothesis:

H: There is no significant difference in the study of the transformational leadership style

used in marawi city and its impact on job satisfaction as perceived by the employees in

terms of intellectual stimulation.

H: There is a significant difference in the study of transformational leadership style used

in marawi city and its impact on job satisfaction as perceived by the employees in terms

of intellectual stimulation.

V- Decision Rule:

If the f-computed value is greater than the f-tabular value, rejected H.

VI Conclusion:

Since the F-computed value of 20.39 is greater than the f-tabular value of 3.89 at .05

level of significance with 2 and 12 degrees of freedom, the null hypothesis is rejected in
favour of the research hypothesis. Therefore, there is a significant difference in

transformational leadership style used in marawi city and its impact on the job satisfaction as

perceived by the employees in terms of intellectual stimulation.

V. Recommendation

Given the result of the study, the following recommendations are formulated:

In terms of Intellectual stimulation, it is recommended that the leader or head Of the Marawi

City should used and be more knowledgeable in applying intellectual stimulation.
