When a thief strikes a service station in Melbourne, Australia, no security guard stands in
the way. But who needs a security guard when you've got automatic doors like these?

An automatic door has proven too much for an Australian robber who became trapped
inside a petrol station he had just robbed.

He entered the Reservoir store armed with scissors on the night of September 20, jumping
the counter and stealing cash and cigarettes.

But the front doors failed to open when he tried to flee and he spent several minutes in
full view of CCTV cameras trying to activate them.

He then tried to smash the front doors before finally managing to open them.

Police are still looking for the man . They have released images of a man, who was
wearing underpants marked "Friday", they believe could help with their inquiries.
