PackageNo.1 consistsof constructionof 7.6 km four lane dual carriageway


and all alliedstructuresi.e. two (2) bridgesand eight (8) drainageculverts,

The work shall include Granular Material Platform, Earthwork for the
embankment,GranularSubbase'AggregateBaseCourse,Aspha|ticBase
course and Asphaltic wearing course The constructionof Bridges,
Drainagestructures,Retainingstructures,Drains,Ditchesand Protection
works are also includedin the scope of works. All constructionmaterial,

lf the Contractorfailsto providethe vehicleswithinthe time allowed,


the cost of hiring alternativevehicles, used for the work shall be
deductedfrom the Contractor'sBill.

Engineer'sRepresentativenot later than (30) days after receiptof
Noticeto proceed,the new vehicleslatestmodel as specifiedherein
after or specifiedin the BOQ.

the full duration of the Contract and temporarrlyreplaced if any

repaired and retrained for use. The Contractor shall provide
competentdriverswho shallbe responsiblefor the vehiclesallocated
to them for the durationof the Contract
1 lf the Contractorfails to maintainthe vehiclesto the satisfactionof
the Employer's/ Engineeror otherwisefailsto complyfullywith these
provisions,the Engineermay get the vehicles maintainedthrough
some alternatearrangement. The Contractorshall bear all coststhat
may arise includingdelaysdue to failureof the Contractorto comply
with these provisions.
