Langdon, Chief Andersen and Director Sato continued with the investigation to the depth of
Capitol building. Theyre now in The Capitol Crypt and heading their way to SBB level. Chief
Andersen leads Langdon and the Director through many hallways. The whole place looks like a
labyrinth with so many different doors and passage ways. Each of them contained identification
numbers. Langdon carefully sneak a glance to the number as they walked around. With curiosity,
Langdon ask the Chief what SB level stands for which the Chief answered that SB level stands
for Senate Basement.

Meanwhile on SMSC Building, Katherine Salomon, Peters sister, invited Dr. Abaddon their
family psychiatrist to her private lab in Pod 5. She had just called to alert the security guard of
her guest arrival. After a few minute, a car finally shows up and drew closer to SMSC access
road. The chauffeur greet the security guard and inform that he have Dr. Abaddon who already
make an appointment with Mrs. Salomon. The security guard asked for the Doctors ID card
which the chauffeur instantly hand it to him. The security guard hurriedly checked the ID on the
scanner before he return it and open the access gate for the car to go inside.

On the Capitol building, Langdon and Director Sato already inside the SB level that stands for
Senate Basement. On the middle of their way to the destination, the Director suddenly asks
Langdon about the meaning of symbol in Peters ring. Sato handed Peters ring to Langdon so
that the professor can look at it more clearly. Langdon investigate the symbol in front of the ring.
It was a double-headed phoenix bore the banner proclaiming ORDO AB CHAO and its chest
bore the number 33 on it. Langdon explain that the double-headed phoenix with number thirty
three is the emblem of highest Masonic degree. He explains to Sato that Peter was the Supreme
Council of thirty three degree. Then Sato asks him what is the meaning of All is revealed in
thirty three degree which Langdon simply answered with some knowledge will be revealed to
the Masonic member when he reaches thirty three degree. After a long explanation for the
Director, Langdon asks her if he can keep Peters ring. Sato raised her brow and asks Langdon
what he will do with the ring. Langdon answered that the ring is Peters most valuable
possession which Langdon hope he can return his best friend valuable thing tonight after the case
cleared. Sato only nodded her head and Langdon pocketed the ring on his back.

Inside the SMSC Building, Trish Dunne, Katherines assistant already waiting for Dr. Abaddon
arrival. She already called Katherine that her guest already arrives in SMSC access road. Trish
now with some curiosity wait for the Doctor to come to main building. Shes in charge to show
the Doctor around the SMSC building to the Katherine private lab in Pod 5.
For a long moment, Chief Anderson finally announced that their almost arrived in the
destination. Theyre standing in front of SBB level waiting for Andersen comrades for the key to
open the SBB level. A few minute later, the security guard finally arrived and hand the key to
Anderson. Unfortunately, the security guard mentioned to the Chief that they cant find the key
for SBB thirteen. Anderson pulled out his radio and called the security in charge to hear further
explanation about SBB thirteen key. The security on the line answered that all SBB level already
cleared and claimed as unused space except for SBB thirteen. He explained that SBB thirteen is a
private room that had been initialed by the architect himself. The security guard then added that
the architect of Capitol building claimed SBB thirteen for private room in set for Peter Salomon.
Langdon looks shock for a while; he didnt know that Peter has a private space in the depth of
Capitol building. Andersen informs the security on the line to look for the secondary key right
away. After that, the three of them continue their way under the passage way to SBB level. On
their way, the chief mentioned to Langdon that SBB stands for the Sub Basement in the Capital
building.

On the same time in Capitol entrance, Officer Nunez suddenly got a surprise visitor inside the
building. One look he already know his visitor identity is none other than Warren Bellamy, the
architect of the Capitol building and the supervisor of this place. Warren asks to the officer about
the incident happen in his building which Nunez answered and adds that the CIA also arrived in
the building to handle the investigation. For a short moment, Warren look surprised and ask
where the chief now. Nunez answered the architect that Chief Anderson accompanied Director
Sato and one guest on the lower level of Capitol building. Then suddenly, Warren demanded
Nunez to take him to the lower level of Capitol which Nunez only nods his head hesitantly. The
two of them exited from the entrance building to the lower level. Nunez sneaks a glance to the
architect beside him and notice that Warren wears a round gold ring on his finger. The officer
asks the architect that he will inform the chief for his arrival which Warren refused.

At last, Langdon and the group finally reach their destination. Theyre finally reached the SBB
thirteen. But before they manage to get inside, the door is locked. Chief Anderson informed
Director Sato that his man still search for the secondary key to open the SBB thirteen door. But
Sato who dislikes waiting insists Chief Anderson to open the door by force. The chief looked
surprised by the directors order. Instead oblige the order, Anderson only stand in front of the
door. Unexpectedly, Sato grabs the chief gun and aims it on the door handle. Before Langdon
and Anderson manage to stop Sato action, the director shot the door handle three times with the
gun. After the final shot, Sato kick the door open into the blackness beyond. Langdon peered in
but he couldnt see anything except the darkness inside. Even he cant see what inside the room;
Langdon can smell something fishy inside this room. Chief Anderson finally stepped inside the
room and shine the light on the floor closely investigate the pattern. The chief slowly inform that
theres nothing inside the room before he stepping further into the blackness of the room.
Suddenly the chief shouted. Langdon and Sato who heard the chief voice hurriedly walk towards
him only to see something unusual that caught in the light of the chiefs flashlight. Both Langdon
and Anderson looked frantic. Theres a human skull inside the room. Sato claimed that Peter
Salomon keeps more secret than she imagine. Anderson surveyed the rest of the room and asks
about the unfamiliar smell of the room which Langdon immediately answered that it was a sulfur
smell. Langdon then added that it should be two saucers locate on the table which contains salt
and sulfur. Sato looked the professor with disbelief and asks how he knew something like that
which Langdon replied that theres already a room like this all over the world.

Warren Bellamy strode the underground hallways before he stopped and ordered Nunez to go
back to his duty. Nunez asks the architect if he sure about that which Bellamy replied that he can
manage on his own from this point. With that, the officer finally left the architect on his own.
Bellamy sure he heard a gunshot inside the sub basement which means the door that lead to SBB
thirteen finally opened. Bellamy continued his step inside the sub basement with a fast speed.

On SMSC building, MalAkh was inside the Pod 3 with Trish Dunne, Katherines assistant. As
the young woman explained all the specimen that stored inside the Pod 3, MalAkh took this
opportunity to pinned her down and grab her security card inside her jacket. Then, he spins her
body around and pulls her face down inside the open tank. MalAkh demanded her answer to her
PIN access card. Trish has never been this scared before in her entire life. She cant breathe and
her face almost touched with the glass surface. In terror, she coughed her PIN access card to her
captor. MalAkh pulled Trishs hair and asks if she give him the correct answer which Trish
answered with a breathless reply that the PIN access is her own birthday date. After he receive
the answer, MalAkh finally set the young assistant free but not for long. He pushed her inside
the tank and let the ethanol water swallowed by her mouth. Trish tried her best to break free from
her captor. But as soon as she swallowed the liquid down her throat, she felt a great pain inside
her lungs. Her world finally went black. MalAkh looked satisfied at his job and leaving behind
Pod 3 and the lifeless body of Trish Dunne. Pod 3 gained a special specimen that never been
seen before.
