T1 OM Function

T1.1 System Login

T1.1.1 System Login


Objective
Verify that users can log in to the BSC6000 LMT and perform operations.
Network diagram No.

Prerequisites
The BTS system is running properly.
The BSC6000 is running properly.
You have obtained the user name and password for login.
Procedure Expected Result
1. Start the BSC6000 LMT. The user logs in to the BSC6000 LMT
successfully and can perform the management

T1.3 Software Loading and Activation

T1.3.1 Board Software Loading


Objective
Verify that the board software loading can be performed on the BSC6000 LMT.

1. The BTS system is running properly.
2. The BSC6000 is running properly.
3. The index of the board software to be loaded is created on the BSC6000 LMT, and the
software is uploaded to the BSC6000.

T1.3.2 Board Software Activation


Objective
Verify that the board software activation can be performed on the BSC6000 LMT.

Remarks
When you activate the GTMU software, do not need to enter the board number.
The format of board number may be 1,2,3...x, or 1-x. If no board number is entered, all
the boards of the same type are loaded by default.
The board is reset after the software is activated. In this case, ignore the board reset
alarm.
When the activation starts, the software activation progress bar is displayed to indicate
the activation progress.
Activate the GTMU software before you activate the software of other modules.
The procedure for DRFU software activating is the same as that for GRFU software loading.
This section takes the GRFU as an example

T1.4 Resources Check Function

T1.4.1 Resources Check


Objective
Verify that the resources check function is normal on the BSC6000 LMT.

T1.5.2 Cell Administrative State Change


Objective
Verify that the administrative state of a certain cell can be changed on the BSC6000 BSC6000 LMT.

T1.6 TRX Management

T1.6.1 TRX Administrative State Change


Objective
Verify that the administrative state of a certain TRX in a cell can be changed on the BSC6000 LMT.

Prerequisites
1. The BTS system is running properly.
2. The BSC6000 is running properly.
Procedure Expected Result
1. Lock the TRX. 1. The shortcut menu is displayed.
(1) Right-click the TRX to be locked. 2. The Modify Administrative State dialog box

Objective
Verify that the TRX loopback test can be performed on the BSC6000 LMT.

(2) Multiple TRXs are configured in at least one cell under the BTS.

(4) Two test MSs (with valid SIM cards) are ready for use.
Procedure Expected Result
