Role of Youth in Globalization

Globalization affects youth culturally, historically, technologically, also demographically. What is

globalization? Basically it is a process of interaction as well as integration among people, companies,
governments of different nations, driven by investments, international trade which is aided by
information technology, affecting culture likewise environment, as well as affecting political systems. It
is about emergence of an international network of economic systems.

It is an old system which affected ancient civilizations up to modernity, an unspoken tradition which had
coursed through generations from back to dawn of humanity up to us, youths of present times.

As youths we have a huge role on globalization, mainly being seeds that will continue tradition of itself
of globalization. As old ones rest, us, a new batch of strong, healthy young ones will rise to exchange
them. Like a new cog exchanging rusty ones in an old machine, we will continue making it continue to
run.

As youths of modernity, we have access to knowledge that is unknown to past generations, knowledge
which can, further more will make ancient academic geniuses Socrates, Plato, Copernicus, up to Tesla,
Marie Curie, Einstein, etc., kill just to have a glimpse of it. With these new knowledge a new branch of
knowledge can be discovered by us further will continue till up to future generations far from our times.
With these knowledge as well as wisdom we make globalization as if a plant that is growing on a
fertilizer factory, continuing to grow faster, stronger, simply greater.

With also because of emergence of internet connection, globalization had broken another layer of
speed. Who have that power of internet connection in their hands? Yes, it is us young ones, youths of
modernity. With simple devices on our palms or on our laps, we can touch countless lives of others.
Technology is such a good as well as awesome thing. We, youths, are manipulating as well as mastered
it till even without looking we know how to perfectly execute processes of globalization through it.

Certainly I believe that role of youth in globalization had not, further more will not, change. Again we
are simply seeds of future unbound which as time pass will bring economies rise up or crash down. We
as youths will have decisions that may make or break worlds of politics, environment, also culture. A
responsibility passed to us from our parents which are once youth of past which is still our world.

Our role is to continue our civilization, our humanity, as role of our ancestors as well as will be role of
our next generations. To keep an old traditional system or even break it, creating new systems for our
own betterment, it is as it will be.

With information disseminations from internet connection as our new cutting edge weapons of mass
globalization we simply have a power to create better choices for us, choices which I, as a part of
globalization itself, as a weaning youth, pray will be truly wonderful as well as right.
