The different DPI used for the hearing have the task to absorb
the sound frequencies (which are different depending on
places and type of work) and are damaging for the hearing
apparatus, but not those which are useful to communicate and

BODY PROTECTION
A general body protection against small slivers projections, abrasions, powder and cold is
ensured by normal clothes if the workers is not exposed to different risk.
Otherwise if the worker’s body is exposed to specific risk then he must wear clothes with
specific protective features:
Protection from noxious atmospheres: anti gases overalls which are hermetically closed, even
with internal pressurization
Heat protection or from incandescent material: fireproof clothes and with an high insulation
power
Protection from not very strong heat: wool and rayon clothes
Protection from high temperatures: textiles with an external surface treated in a way to reflex
