The Veterans Affairs is a department of the government that provides support for
Veterans in multiple ways. The VA brings medical care, as well as support for caretakers and
burial services for veterans. The VA website is comprehensive in its benefits and information on
eligibility. It also has a page on the history and values of the department.
There was a lot of credibility to this website, and the informational style that it was
written was very strictly organized into many categories. They had a lot of conditions and
requirements of the eligibility, and priorities were laid out as well. The website was to the point,
and had a long history that come before the official creation of the Veterans Affairs.
The Pathos behind the website was deeply rooted in the patriotic values that are shared
between the veterans. There was many pictures of quality care, however, the website also
focused on the patriotic colors of red white and blue. They showed a lot of respect to the
sacrifices that the veterans have made, by prioritizing their care in their ICARE Core values.
The Logic behind the website was based on testimonies of individuals. They give links
to the different sub programs that they do for veterans, and they have a veteran news, for the new
things that come up. The impressive Logical support they had was all the statistics the website
had, in terms of the mental illnesses that veterans have compared to the main population, and the
In conclusion, the VA webpage is well done in their balance of different rhetorics that
they use. The audience is mainly for the patients, who are veterans. The website is easy to
navigate for the purpose of information. Their history and organization of the facilities are
impressive. Their mission statements are endearing and their writing and presentation of their
