GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The 100X series is an open-loop, highly accurate proportional control valve. A rugged and reliable unit which has
been proven in application installations globally. The uncomplicated design of the 100X/101X enhances the
reliability and reduces maintenance requirements, offering a cost effective accurate solution.

CERTIFICATION
An intrinsically safe 100X model certified to ATEX (EN50 020) EEx ia IIC T4 is available. (Installations with these models must
comply with the information given in BS EN 60079.

All instruments are tested, soaked at 60C, cycled for 1000 full scale electrical and 100 pneumatic operations and retested on the
Watson Smith Automatic Testing System for linearity, hysteresis, total error, drift, supply sensitivity, response time, start up pressure,
air consumption and resistance. An individual test certificate is provided at no extra charge.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The 120 Pilot Booster I/P converter uses proven moving coil and flapper/nozzle technology, with a built in flow
regulator to minimize supply pressure effects. Available in a variety of packages including Explosion Proof
enclosures for incorporation into OEM products.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The 140 proportional I/P converter uses advanced closed loop solid-state electronic control to achieve accurate,
high resolution pressure control. It is available in intrinsically safe and Type n versions and its vibration immunity
and IP66 weatherproof rating make it ideal for field application.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The 425 proportional I/P converter uses advanced closed loop electronic control to achieve accurate,
high resolution pressure control. It is available in explosion proof and intrinsically safe versions and
its vibration immunity and weatherproofing make it ideal for field application.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Type 440 electro-pneumatic converters combine high precision pneumatic performance with input signal
versatility for use with computer and microprocessor based control systems. The type 440 converter
accepts a 4-20mA standard control signal or voltage equivalents. Standard additional features includes
4-20mA feedback, signal failure indication and selection of failure mode. These converters are intended
for applications in which conventional two wire I/P converters are inadequate.
