FLORADIX. FASTER
ABSORPTION BY FAR.

As women, we require a sufficient daily supply of iron

to feel energetic. Diet alone isnt always enough. Our bodies
need iron for the formation of red blood cells which transport
oxygen to all body cells. Insufficient iron levels are often the reason
we feel tired all the time, have pale skin or brittle hair and nails.
We need more iron due to blood loss during menstruation or
increased blood volume during pregnancy. This is when Floradix
or Floravital (the yeast and gluten-free version) can help.
Floradix is a more effective way to top up on iron because unlike
tablets, its absorbed immediately.

125g butter
1 cup brown sugar, plus
1 tbsp extra

1 cup oats
cup almonds, chopped

2 Melt the butter and

THE PROBLEM:

Stress
THE SOLUTION
Listen to music
Music can have a profound
effect on your body and
mind, especially slow,
quiet classical tunes.
A UK study conducted
by Mindlab International
revealed that people
who listened to music
at 60 beats per minute
experienced a reduction in
stress by a whopping 65%.
It is suggested the music
causes your brain to
synchronise with the beat,
resulting in alpha waves,
which are the brain waves
that keep you relaxed when
youre awake, explains Sue.
To get the best results,
listen to an entire track as it
typically takes
five minutes
for your
body to
synchronise
with a
rhythm.

THE PROBLEM:

Trauma
THE SOLUTION
Think positively
None of us are immune
from experiencing some
kind of distress in our lives.
However, a new University
of Sydney study has found
we can hasten our recovery
and feel better by being
more optimistic. Professor
Donnel Briley says the more
hopeful you are about
recovering from serious
physical or mental illness,
the more likely it will be that
you will experience positive
outcomes. Mentally
simulating your future is
incredibly important to
optimism, he says. For
example, if youve recently
been injured, imagining
yourself happy and in good
health will put you on the
right track.

ouve never been involved in the share
market but youve come into a small
amount of money. You would like to
invest it in your favourite New Zealand company,
just to feel part of it. What should you do?
I think its a terrific idea as long as it is just a
small amount of money and youre not afraid
of taking a loss. The fact you like the company
so much is a pointer to its success. Im assuming
you know that shares are available in that firm.
First of all, go to the companys website and
see if theres any guidance about how to buy
shares. The next thing is to assess who might
be a reliable sharebroker, well-established, etc.
You will almost certainly need a sharebroker
simply to take your money and register your
share purchase. Dont pay extra for advice. You
know who you want to invest in you just need
the sharebroker to make it happen. Enjoy the
ride. Youre lucky to have the spare cash.
