Introduction
Epi Info (TM) software is in the public
domain and freely available for use,
copying, translation and distribution.

Analysis
Analysis is a program for manipulating,
managing, and analyzing data.
Analysis acts as a statistical toolbox providing
many ways to transform data and perform
statistical analysis.
Data can be selected, sorted, listed, or
manipulated with a series of commands,
functions, and operators.
Available statistics include frequencies and
means as well as more advanced processes
including Kaplan-Meier Survival Analysis and
Logistic Regression.

Very important!
List show the result of sorting and
selecting
Always perform Cancel Sort and
Cancel Select for different
questions/problems!

Please perform:
Cancel Sort and Cancel Select

Do we have same appearance?

Run Analysis - Define

(creating new variable)
Were going to calculate and classify
the BMI
Two options:
In Excel file import the file again
In Epi Info creating new variables

22
