is required
Features
Infinitely variable positioning of choke
Metal-to-metal seal locking mechanism eliminates the
requirement for hydraulic pressure to be maintained.
Incremental choke control achieved electronically or
hydraulically
Valid indication of choke position at surface can be
achieved using a SAM sensor actuation module or
Accu-Pulse system.
Mechanical override facility
High integrity metal-to-metal choke sealing
Shrouded version available for stacked zone applications
Optional deflector to divert flow away from the adjacent
casing for injection applications
Benefits

Ability to alter flow characteristics of each zone
Flow area equivalent to tubing flow area
Flow allocation capability when used in conjunction
with a SAM module or permanent downhole
gauge (PDG)
Operation
The IV-ICV valve is controlled by differential pressure
applied to the actuator piston. A minimum of 250 psi
differential is needed to unlock the metal-to-metal seal and

Boost piston mechanism tightens closure seal as
differential pressures are applied.
HVC flow trim is easily customized to fit a wide range of
choking applications.

other applications
Operation
The HV-ICV is controlled by differential pressure applied to
the actuator piston. A minimum of 250 psi differential is HV Interval Control Valve
needed to unlock the metal-to-metal seal and allow the choke (HV-ICV)
to open. The choke can then be fully opened or returned to
the closed position by applying pressure to the close-line.
Features
Control line or tubing pressure set
Bypass for up to five 1/4 in. control lines
Hydraulic interlock prevents premature setting.
Unique full coverage slip system
NBR element with anti-extrusion system
Premium threaded connections throughout
Benefits
Control line feed-through without splicing
Qualified for high tensile or compressive loads
Tailpipe can be left in tension or compression.
No body movement during setting
Tool Information
Benefits
Enhanced reservoir management capabilities through
incremented flow control capability
A predetermined volume of fluid is already stored in the
Accu-Pulse system.
Operation
The Accu-Pulse system may communicate with either side of
the ICV piston (i.e., it can drive the ICV open or closed). A
check valve is used in parallel with the Accu-Pulse system to
allow free flow in the reverse direction. This allows
incremental positioning in one direction with the valve being
driven to a fully open or closed position when pressure is
applied from the other direction.
Application
The PDG system allows the operator to monitor reservoir
conditions and trends. Used in conjunction with
WellDynamics flow control equipment, the operator can
manipulate the downhole configuration to optimize
reservoir performance.
Features
Can be deployed with Direct Hydraulics, Digital
Hydraulics, or Mini Hydraulics systems
Interface capabilities with multiple subsea control

Multiplexing capability using single electric line for up to
15 gauges per well
Based on field-proven SCRAMS technology
Benefits
Real-time data acquisition without well intervention
Single mandrel to obtain tubing, annulus, and an Permanent Downhole Pressure and
auxiliary pressure and temperature Temperature Gauge (PDG) System
Up to six gauges per mandrel reduces overall length of
bottomhole assemblies.
