0 MATERIAL SUPPLIED BY SUBCONTRACTOR (Non Exhaustive List)

2.1 SUBCONTRACTOR shall understand that the following list of SUBCONTRACTOR

supplied materials is deemed to be for guidance purposes only and is indicative of
the type of materials SUBCONTRACTOR is responsible for providing.

CONTRACTOR supplied materials shall be limited only to those materials listed

in Section 1 of this Exhibit H. SUBCONTRACTOR shall provide all other materials
and consumables such as, but without limitation:

MECHANICAL & CIVIL

2.1 General
- All Shims for steelwork, Equipment (including shims for rotating
equipment), and pipe supports.
- All consumables for the execution of the work including:
Welding Rods, Gases.
- All oils, grease, paint, inhibitors, sheet metal blinds and all
other materials necessary for preventative maintenance.
2.2 Fireproofing
- Fireproofing Reinforcement.
- Fireproofing Concrete.

2.3 Grouting
- Concrete Infill.

2.4 Piping
- All materials for testing pipe including temporary piping,
blinds, flanges and make up pieces.
- Pipe for welder qualification outside Nigeria.

2.5 Pipe Supports

- Supply of all support materials for all line sizes including
supports listed below with the sole exception of the supports detailed above in
Materials supply by CONTRACTOR:
Nuts, Washers and Bolts etc. (including chemfix and expansion
bolts for supports on thickened paving)

2.6 Manhole Covers

2.7 Painting - Galvafroid or similar approved for touch up work to

Galvanised Steel.
- Painting of Pipe Supports.
All paint Materials for application of Prime Coats intermediate
and finish coats except for the final finish coat to all SUBCONTRACTORS provided
Pipe Supports.
(Paint materials for Items such as Trunnions or Wear plates which
are shop welded to pipe will be provided (and applied) by others).
- Painting of Subcontractor damaged Steelwork, including all paint
material for application of all coats.

2.8 General
- Cement mix, aggregate, sand, inhibitors (as applicable),
formwork, release agents, burlap sacking and weather protection materials, Joint
Filler and Sealer materials, Bituthene Sheeting.

2.9 Electrical & Instrumentation

- Cable Protection Tile (for trenches in unpaved areas)/Cable
Segregation Tiles
- Cable Trench Route Markers
- Cable Identification Markers (minimum acceptable materials are
stainless steel for underground cables and thermoplastic strips for above ground
cables).
- Cable Core Markers
- Cable Lugs and Ferrules
- Cable End Seals (for temporary protection of cables)
- Cable Transit Blocks (transit frames by CONTRACTOR)
Support Material for Field Instruments (instrument stands, etc.)
- Support Material for Cable Ladder, Rack, Cable Tray and Trunking
(except insides Substations, FARs, and other buildings when support materials
shall be supplied by CONTRACTOR).
- Fixing Materials (nuts, bolts, washers, etc.) for mounting
equipment, cable tray, ladder rack, cable trunking, cable clamps, and similar
- Cable Fixing Materials (cable straps, cleats, etc.)
- Cold Plastic Sealing Compound
- Isolation Materials for mounting of equipment/materials of
dissimilar materials (e.g., stainless steel tray/rack to galvanised steel)
- Field Labels for Instruments and Electrical Equipment
- Paint and Galvanising Repair Materials
- Cable to Pipe Connections (for cathodic protection purposes)
- Cable Clamps (other than single core cable)
- High Temperature Cable Sealing Compound
- All necessary or required consumable items.

Notes
a) Underground GRVE piping will be free-issued, pre-spooled with mechanical
couplings in the field (essentially straight runs). Spool lengths will be 12LM
maximum.
b) Underground carbon steel piping will be free-issued as bulk pipe, fittings,
flanges, weldolets etc, for site fabrication by SUBCONTRACTOR. Straight pipe will
be coated and wrapped by the supplier. All testing, coating and wrapping of
weld joints and fittings and all repairs will be by SUBCONTRACTOR.
c) Quantities of steel reinforcement bars, anchor bolts and metal inserts free-
issued by CONTRACTOR will be sufficient for Scope of Work. Costs of additional
materials necessary for reasons attributable to SUBCONTRACTOR wastage,
rework, loss or other default by SUBCONTRACTOR will be to SUBCONTRACTORs account.
