around the Commons to learn more about how your
student is engaging through technology by integrating the
Chromebook in class. There will also be assistance
available for any Infinite Campus issues and School
Nutrition information. Parents in attendance will be entered

Mon/Tues, 10/30-31 - GA Milestones Reading and Evidence-Based Writing Field

Test - On Monday and Tuesday, October 30-31, 2017, approximately 350 Tift
County High School seniors will participate in the Georgia Milestones Reading
and Evidence-Based Writing Field Test. The purpose of the field test is for the
state to evaluate the quality of the items on the test, not to evaluate student
performance. Students will not be impacted academically by their
performance on the test. Students will be tested during their English class or
during a course that is not associated with an End-of-Course Test. Students will
receive notification through their student email and also will be notified on
campus. Students are asked to treat this test just as they would a regular End-
of-Course Test. It will be an opportunity for them to practice in an online testing
environment on their new Chromebooks prior to their End-of-Course Exams at
the end of this semester.
