This CARTIS innovation removes* all traces of chlorine and pollutants (heavy

Limescale reduces the lifetime of your household appliances by an average of 30%**! Water
hardness, also known as scale, is formed by the combination of calcium and magnesium.
With the CARTIS module featuring the AEP (Anti Effet Parois or Anti Wall Effect), water
circulates in micro-vortexes when in contact with metal and carbon surfaces, thereby
modifying the polarity of the precipitated minerals. These simultaneous actions prevent
the combination of calcium and magnesium and, consequently, prevent the formation of
limescale.

The CARTIS water is a powerful limescale inhibitor which acts, differently to a softener,
inside water pipes and tanks (water heaters, boilers, etc.).
As it is always full of minerals essential in consumption and depending on certain condi-
tions (period, region, rainfall, temperature, acidity, hardness, etc.), the water can sometimes
leave a few whitish marks known as aragonite. These marks can be wiped away with a
damp or dry cloth.

The patent filed by CARTIS is best

described as a very high-performance
feat. Collaboration with CRT Plasma Laser-
CNRS was decisive in this innovation: the
perfect combination of filtering carbon and
sanitising silver. Thanks to the plasma
technology, the CARTIS process creates a
permeable nanometric layer of pure metal
silver atoms on the internal and external
walls of the activated carbon. This unique
technique gives direct access to the carbon
for optimal water treatment with no
discharge, while considerably increasing the
performance of carbon particles.

Tested and approved efficacy*.

The latest analyses carried out in 2014 by ESCOM (cole Suprieure de Chimie Organique et Minrale
or Institute of Organic and Mineral Chemistry) on a selection of conventional and specific pollutants
likely to be contained in network water confirmed the remarkable results* of the CARTIS system :
- Excellent turbidity : water no longer contains any suspended particles
- Chlorine, aluminium and silver removal
- Average abatement exceeding 90% for pollutants such as: atrazine, lead, arsenic, iron, etc.

Manufactured in France, the CARTIS system is entirely made of foodgrade stainless

steel parts capable of withstanding a pressure of 10 bars.

The treatment cartridge, composed of CARTIS carbon, is only renewed every 8 years*.
