for High School Catechesis. Life Teen recommends that a 4 year Sunday, Sept, 19, 2010

quality catechesis is offered to every teen involved in the Life Teen St. Andrew Parish Hall

may be calling you to the Legion of Mary. The Legion
is an association of Catholic laity who serve the parish
through prayer and active work. The Legion meets
weekly each Thursday at 10:00am. One of its works
is visiting the sick and homebound and taking the Eucharist to them.
Ministers of the Eucharist must be trained and certified by the Arch-

DEPARTAMENTO DE EDUCACION RELIGIOSA
LA CATEQUESIS ES UN PROCESO CONTINUO: Al igual que un
niño no puede aprender a leer en un año, tampoco puede aprender todos los
conocimientos que deben saber de nuestra religión con la preparación que
reciben EN DOS ANOS para la hacer primera comunión. Es por lo tanto
importante que sigan el estudio que comenzaron, para que puedan desarro-
llar su vida espiritual que los guiaran y ayudaran a vivir y defender su Fe.
Además, el niño necesita el estudio sistemático de la doctrina para hacer la
Confirmación.
Las inscripciones para la Catequesis del 2010-11 esta abierta,
cada niño tiene que inscribirse todos los años. El costo del pro-
grama es de $50 por alumno, cantidad que debe abonarse al
inscribirse o dar un deposito de $25 por alumno. Después de
agosto 31 habrá un recargo de $10.
Si alguien esta pasando por una situación económica difícil en
este momento por favor hablen déjennoslo saber y haremos
todo lo posible por acomodar su situación.
FECHAS IMPORTANTES: Orientación para
padres y alumnos el domingo 12 de Sept. 5-
6:30pm. Las clases de catequesis comien-
zan el 19 de Septiembre y terminan el 15
de Mayo de 2011. La Primera Comunión
es el 21 de Mayo a las 12:00 am .

Para presentaciones de niños de 40 días y de 3 años por favor apun-
tarse en el Ministerio Hispano con una semana de anterioridad. No
se hacen misas de presentación de 3 años.

de Acción de Gracia se celebrara el tercer

GRUPO JOVENES
Invitamos a todos los teens de 13 a 17 años de edad y

El grupo de oración Semillas de Paz y Amor TE IN-
VITA a este seminario de ocho semanas patrocinado
por el padre Carlos Vargas y el grupo carismático de
la Arquidiócesis. Martes 7-9Pm
TALLER DE ORACION Y VIDA
Presentación vibrante y activa de Jesús basada en el
AMOR y lo que este es capaz de realizar, no en el
temor ni en el castigo sino adaptada a las necesidades
de la sociedad actual. 15 semanas consecutivas.

REQUISITOS
BAUTISMO. Los padres tienen que estar registrados y asis-
tiendo a la misa dominical por lo menos tres meses antes
del bautismo de sus hijos. Presentar Acta de Nacimiento del
niño/a. Padrinos casados sacramentalmente deben de traer
copia del certificado de Matrimonio. Solteros: mayores de 16
años de edad, certificado de Bautismo. Parejas en unión
libre no califican para ser padrinos. Pláticas de preparación:
Primer Martes del mes de 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm, asistencia obl-
toria de padres y padrinos. Ceremonia Bautismal segundo Sábado de
mes a las 11:00 am. Entrega de documentos miércoles.
CONFIRMACION. Este curso de preparación es de dos años
para jóvenes que han hecho la Primera Comunión y estén en
noveno o decimo grado. Inscripción en la oficina del Ministerio
Hispano.
MATRIMONIO. Inscritos en la parroquia. Reservar la fecha con seis
meses de anticipación. Certificado de bautismo actualizada, licencia pre
-matrimonial, clases de preparación LLASU (Llamados a ser uno).
Cita con el padre. Inscribirse en el Ministerio Hispano.
CATECUMENADO: Eres tu un adulto católico que te falta uno o
todos los sacramentos? Ofrecemos un curso especial donde te
preparamos para recibir los sacramentos y cumplir así con los
mandatos de la Iglesia Católica. El Rito de Iniciación Católica
para Adultos y jóvenes mayores de 9 años imparte las clases los
mienzan el 19 de Septiembre 2010.
