SAFE GUIDEAND OPERATION MANUAL

The operator of the machine must be familiar with the hot cutting principle. Understand and

gasp the relevant safe procedures, before operate the machine should read the system manual
carefully to avoid the damage to the machine.

To check the air source before the operation. During the cutting process ,make sure no gas

leakage. If any unusual situation happen ,such as you can smell the odor of the gas,close the

machine suddenly,cut offthe air source and the power source,and call the relevant person to check it.

As long as the fault be solved,restart the machins. Inflammable and explosive materials should be

far away from cutting jet area. When use the automatic flame lighter,before use it the operator
should make sure nobody in the flame area

1. The requirements of working machine


1) To ensure the accuracy of machine, working machine should meet the following
requirements:
a) Be below the altitude of 1000m;
b) Environmental temperature in 5 " c - 40 " c,
c) When the environment temperature is 40C,the humidity should not above 50o/o ;
d) Working environment: better in no acid, no corrosion, no oil mist, no dust environment,
e) Working location: avoid direct sunlight or excessive vibration.
2> Main power source requirements:
a) voltage: ACzzAY System working voltage: 24V
b) voltage fluctuation: maximum*l07o
c) power supply frequency: 50HZ
d) the machine should connect to the sheltered ground
3 ) attention prior to power connection
a) Confirm every parts of the machine has no other object placed;
b) Confirm the operating button action smoothly;
c) make sure the air pressure is G-7kglcm2(0.6^{.7Mpa);
d) Confirm no body around the machine;
e) power connection order: first insert plug, then close up the power switch ,(when elose the
power by the opposite order.)
2, Operation Caution
1) After power connection, according to the specifications stipulated in the daily inspection
and maintenance projects completed work accordingly;
2) During the machining process, prohibited to touch or approach the motion component of
the machine;
3 ) Wed hand never touch any button and switch;
4) Before use the switch or button on the panel, you should confirm operation intention and
the key position, to prevent incorrect operation;
5) Should always check the lubricating conditions of moving parts, such as lead rail
3. The caution wheo finished the work
I ) when finished the worhclean the environment around the machine;
2) put the cutting machine in the suitable place;
3) cut offthe power source when leave;
4- Attention in the process of maintenance
Only by p'rofessional personnel, the machine is allowed to repair or replace the components.
To avoid the accident happened, or the damage to ths machine, In the maintenance must abide
by the principles as followed:

1) When the malfrrnction ocetlrs, disconnect the power switch, let the machine stop working;
2) when the machine can not work normally, check the manual and instructions, determine the

correct measures should be taken
3) when rcpafu or replace the components, must trun offpower forst, you necd to be aware that
only allows lhe use of a specified components replace damaged,
4) overhaul of the parts (element removed) should be in the same place in the new parts
(elements), and replace the original specification screws as possible use.
5) the instrument during maintenance should pass the calibration
6) Regular inspection should be taken, make sure the cables and wires is no damage, to prevent
leakage or shock,

I.SAFE OPERATION
I ) CNC cutting machine is a sophisticated equipment ,so machine operation must done by the
designated persion in specified time.
2) Operators must be hained professionally and they should be skillful, the machine can not be
operated by others.
3 ) It must be sure that without outside interference before operation ,then put the cutting materials
on the platform and make sure that the materials are in normal size.(ps : be carefirl)

2.FIRE PREVENTION
1) Flammable gases such as propane, acetylene ,liquid gases and so on are used to provide energy
for the cutting machine .Therefore , it needs to be regularly checked in order to make sure whether
the machine works well .
2) The part of gas resources should be kept away from the flame ,and at the sarne time we must put
some carbon dioxide or other kinds of fire extinguishers near it .
3 ) Operators must control the fire timely to avoid disaster.

3.INJI.]RY PREVENTION
1) When the cutting machine is running , we should puy more attention to it . Because we must
make sure that &ere is nobody or other objects in front of the machine , or they may be hurt.
2) After each cutting , the cutting torch should be upgraded to the highest ,s s not to run into the
steel and crash torch.

4.HANDING PRECAUTIONS
I ) Before boot the machine we should check it whether the pipeline is leaking , if it is leaking we
can not boot the machine .

2 ) After boot the machine we should check whether there are obstacles on the rails, and remove
them if there is something.
3 ) Operators can not leave their piace, others can not boot the machine.

4) If meet some emergency in the operations ,operators should immediately press the red stop
switch to prevent an accident.
5) CNC maintenarce should under the professional command and coordinate.
6) Close all valves before shutdown and release the residual gas
7) lf discover the pipeline has tempered phenomenon, must immediately expired power. On the
machine malflrnctions should write down the record.
8) First use or not use for long time, should use nitogen to ejectment the air which in trachea
first,and then can light the fue, in order to avoid accident.
9) If found fault, need fault record.
10) Other maffers need attention

a) External connection and airway connection

Should be strictly according to the drawing and road connecting requirements, and ensure
the appropriate length of the airway and wire

o If equipped with plasmapower, must strictly in accordance with the requirements of


manufacturer of the plasma power to connect the gas,electricity together. please see the details
of plasma power specifications.

b) May not change the related parameters of the machine, to avoid to cause failure.

c)The installation site ofthe cutting machine should be choosed in the smaller vibration place,
no hammer and large press machine or other vibration equipment near it.
5. OXYGENAND GAS CUTTING
l) Oxygen and gas cutting introduction

Oxygen gas cutting process is from a pure oxygen (at least 99.5%) in the work of the jet surf;ace

ignite, heating flarne will be cut by the starting point is heated workpiece ignition temperature to
start this process, burning through transport oxygen to start cutting, because of the rising of heat,

burning will be started adjacent to the work rapidly, the moving torch cutting out a cut but the

2) Working Pressure

The adjustment of machine working pressure . In the machine has cut oxygen, preheat oxygen

and gas these three pressure-regulating valve, the valve to control the oxygen and gas necessary

working pressure conveniencely, also can check need values from cutting list . Open valve must
adjust the cut on the torch for manual contol valve to adjust the pressure of work.Using

unreasonable pressure will cause low cutting efficiency or poor cutting surface such defects

4) Setting the cutting speed and the gas pressure

Must use weak heat flame to cutting shee! with strong heating flarne cutting thick plate, If the

cutting edge melting, has formed a sring hang drop or ball, it means the melting heat is too strong.

when cutting,if heating flame is weak, so "stings" will cause damage, even temper, incision, if
appropriate, adjust heating flame, cutting oxygen flow will becomes clean and shary.

6) The adjus&rent of cutting oxygen fluidic

The quality of cutting oxygen fluidic is the determinant to achieve well notch. If cutting oxygen jet

among the flarne exactly on heating, and can be easily seen an almost entirely cone shape cuuing jeg

it means the cutting jet adjust properly. If cutting jet leave cutting torch, like brooms completely
spread or cann't see clearly, this is the phenomenon of cutting torch jam, for cleaning the cutting

7)The distance between cutting torch and workpiece

In the process of cutting,the height of cutting torch adjust to capacitance height control device. If no

or close automatically adjustable high device, the correct space of cutting torch must be noted
constantly. When using propane or nafural gas as gas, and the cut thickness is to 50mm, cutting

torch height should double times. If necessar5r, adjust it.

8)Preheating time

Cutting start from the edge of steel plate or the time of drilling preheating , according to the type of
gas, the surface quality of steel plate and the flame of heating

The numerical in brackets, suitable for reference on the steel punched. If use high-pressure

preheating system, the data listed above can be reduced about 4AYo of preheating time,it can be
