Each terrain data point consists of three real numbers and two integer numbers separated by one
or more spaces with the following interpretation:
1 distance from site 1 (real number)
2 elevation above sea level (real number)
3 structure height AGL (real number)
4 structure definition (integer)
the low order byte is the type of structure
0 none
1 tree
2 building
3 water tower
the high order byte defines the class of the structure
0 none
1 single
2 start of a range
3 end of a range
4 off path structure
the composite for all combinations are as follows:
257 single tree
258 single building
259 single water tower
1025 off path tree
1026 off path building
1027 off path water tower
513 start tree range
769 end tree range
514 start building range
770 end building range
5 ground characteristics (integer)
0 poor ground
1 average ground
2 good ground
3 fresh water
4 salt water

If a structure type is classed as off path, the next two lines are used to describe the off path
structure. An example of the off path two line format assuming the metric system is:
distance off path - ground elevation

Reference Ellipsoid

The reference ellipsoid designator is on the same line as the site #1 main antenna height and
separated by a space. The designators are listed below.

0 Clarke 1880 1 International

2 Clarke 1866 3 Bessel
4 Everest 5 Walbeck
6 Southeast Asia 7 Krasovsky
8 GRS 80 > WGS 84 9 Modified Everest
10 Australian National 11 Airy
12 Modified Airy

The following points should be noted when writing a conversion program:

The exact number of terrain data points must be specified.
Blank lines are not allowed.
The worksheet type must be 0.
