ABSTRACT
This action research is based on a preliminary study of a collaborative discussion between lecturers and some
students. The goal is increasing the first level students of mathematics education program's understanding ability
in the AY of 2016/17 so that the students can pass the KKM easily. The method used is a classroom action
research consisting of two cycles with a sample of 22 students of the first grade of the mathematics education
program UNSUR FY 2016/2017. Optimization of learning model through PBL become important and expected
to be able to increase the ability of understanding mathematical concept of student in lecturing mathematics. The
result of this research concludes that mathematics learning in basic mathematics course with PBL learning
model can improve students' ability of understanding mathematical concept. The student's response to the
learning of mathematics with the PBL learning model is mostly positive or responds well.

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of metacognitive approach to student communication
ability in learning mathematics. The population of this research is the students of SMP Aisyiah Muhammadiyah
3 Malang. The sample of this research is students of class VIII_A SMP Aisyiah Muhammadiyah 3 unfortunate.
Data collection methods that dugunkan researchers are Tests and Interviews, where tests are used to determine
students 'mathematical communication skills and interviews used to strengthen the test results of students'
mathematical communication skills. The data in this study were tested using Paired Sample T Test. The results
of this study indicate that learning with metacognitive approach affects the ability of students' mathematical
communication. This can be proven on the result of Paired Sample T-test analysis is known the average pre-test
value of 28.89 for the mathematica communication ability and 50.21 for the post-test of communication ability,
The result of the analysis shows that there is an increase between the value Pre-test and post-test, meaning that
there is a change in students' mathematical communication skills at the time of learning with metacognitive
approach.

ABSTRACT
This research has a purpose to know students mathematical creative thinking ability in problem solving of
geometry in terms of visual spatial intelligence and logical mathematics. Instruments in this research are test of
visual spatial intelligence, logical mathematics, mathematical creative thinking, and deepth interview. The data
collection technique which is used are technique and source triangulation.The research subject is students in VII
grade of SMPN 1 Cilegon which choose maximal two students in each criteria of visual spatial intelligence
(high, medium, and low) and logical mathematics (high, medium, and low). The result research are 1) students
who have high visual spatial intelligence and logical matehmatics have mathematical creative thinking ability
from product aspect in the best solving the geometry problems, 2) generally, students who have logical
mathematics better than visual spatial intelligence are having better mathematical creative thinking ability than
students who have visual spatial intelligence better than logical matehmatics, 3) mathematical creative thinking
ability from process aspect consist of generating, planning, and producing levels, for students who balance KVS
and logical matehmatics relatively, students have ability to solve the problems using visual spatial intelligence
and logical matehmatics at the same time, to be done more than once, and balance, but they are on each levels,
4) mathematical creative thinking ability from process aspect, students who have logical matehmatics better than
visual spatial intelligence use visual spatial intelligence earlier than mathematical logic intelligence in problem
solving, although students who have visual spatial intelligence better than logical matehmatics use mathematical
logic intelligence earlier than visual spatial intelligence.

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this research is to analyze the improvement of the ability of mathematical proficiency (MP) of
students in the course of Calculus II between those utilizing Maple applications and those that do not utilize
Maple application based on initial mathematical ability (IMA). The mathematical proficiency (MP) of the
student in question is based on the concept of Kilpatrick (2001). The method used in this study is quasi
experiment, the results are: (1) Improved MP is better based on IMA (high, medium, and low) in learning
Calculus II; (2) There is a difference in MP improvement based on IMA (high and medium) in learning Calculus
II utilizing Maple application; (3) There is no interaction effect between learning utilizing Maple and
applications use the IMA (high, medium, and low) to the increase in MP; And (4) Increased achievement of all
MP indicators based on IMA (high, medium and low).

THE IMPLEMENTATION OF TEAM QUIZ AS A TYPE OF

ABSTRACT
This Research aimed at finding out whether the proportion of students who achieved learning mastery after
being taught mathematics using Team Quiz was higher than the proportion of Students who achieved learning
mastery after using conventional learning, at the seventh grade of SMPN 4 Padang.The Research applied
experimental method. The research sample the students of class VII.1 the experimental class and class VII.2 as
the control group. the number ofstudents was 33. The result of data analysis showed that the value of calculated
2 was 4.96 on degree of freedom 1 and probability < 0.05. It means the alternative hypothesis (1 ) was
accepted. Based on the research result and analysis it can be concluded that proportion of students who achieved
learning mastery Mathematics after being taught using Team Quiz was higher than the proportion of students
who achieved learning mastery at the seventh grade of SMPN 4 Padang.

ABSTRACT
The study focused on the analysis of the concept metapedadidaktik trapezoid. In this study makes a hypothesis
didactic design aims to minimize the obstacles that arise. Metapedadidaktik analysis is the process of thinking
teacher during a lesson. Then analyzed by the following stages: a didactic limited trial design that has been
compiled, analyzed the situation, student responses, and the anticipation of students' responses when tested
didactic design.

ABSTRACT
Many studies revealed that many students and college students find it difficult in learning Calculus. That issue
occurred as Calculus comprises abstract ideas and as the lack of a proper media to visualize those ideas in the
teaching and learning process. The use of mathematics software such as Maple can be a solution for this
problem. Hence, in this study we developed a Calculus module which is integrated with Maple. In the process of
validation, six lecturers were involved. Those lecturers are professional in the field of calculus and module
research and development. The result of validation showed that the module is in a very good category with
average score 3.76 out of 4. Moreover, this module is also in a good category in term of its practicality.
Therefore, this module can be applied in the teaching and learning process.

ABSTRACT
The problems in this research relate to the problem solving ability of mathematics students of grade VIII SMP
Negeri 2 Warkuk Ranau Selatan. The purpose of this study to determine the improvement of problem solving
skills of mathematics students through Problem Solving learning methods in class VIII-1 Semester Even SMP
Negeri 2 Warkuk Ranau Selatan. This research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK). From the results of the
cycle test shows that there is an increase in problem solving ability of mathematics from cycle I of 36.11% with
an average ability of 59.03 increased to 52.78% with an average ability of 62.39 in cycle II then increased in
cycle III to 86.11% with an average capability of 88.41. Thereby it can be concluded that "There is
improvement of problem solving ability of mathematics through Problem Solving learning method at grade
VIII-1 student even semester SMP Negeri 2 Warkuk Ranau Selatan ".

ABSTRACT
This research is an assessment of mathematical disposition and development model of creative mathematics
learning based on character values for students of Mathematics Education Program. The purpose is to provide a
mathematical learning model by integrating superior character values from the side intellectual development,
Spiritual and emotional development, Physical and kinesthetic development, dan Affective and Creativity
development. These purpose are achieved through several stages, including: (1) theoretical analysis; (2)
Exploration of mathematical disposition & character values (3) identification of problems, (4) developing
learning models that characterize character values; (5) improvement of learning model; (6) application of the
model; (7) reviewing the effectiveness of the learning model by making evaluation and improvement; (8)
Revealing the effectiveness and weakness of the application of the mathematics learning model that is resulting;
And (9) The final improvement of the learning model by actualization the character value. The value
effectiveness of the results of the development of this research are creative products that is the formation of
creative mathematics learning models, namely learning that creates an effective learning atmosphere, fun by
building a positive mental attitude. A positive mental attitude in every learning activity by internalizing the
character's values. A positive mental attitude, such as: a mindset, attitude and positive action, creative,
innovative, committed, patient, steadfast and open to positive relationships with others on the basis of trust, and
always learn from the best.

PENGARUH PEMBERIAN TUGAS DAN BERPIKIR KREATIF
TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA

ABSTRACT
The research aims to seek the interaction between assignment model and creativity level of the students to the
mathematical learning outcome.The research target is all the grade two students of madrasah in Jakarta. The
sample by stratified random sampling. To seek creativity level, the data collection applies Likert scale models
through questionnaire media. From the test, it can be concluded that the realibility of the instruments are the
level of creativity is =0,856 and the outcome of mathematical learning is = 0,969. Data analysis for
statistical testing applies normality and homogenity test. The hypothetical testing uses Variant Analysis. At the
end, it is concluded that there are significance differences among the students that is given group and individual
assignments (Fh=4,82>4,02= Ft) and the more and less-creative group of students (Fh=4,54>4,02=Ft). discovered
that there is not an interaction between the model of assignment and the level of creativity (F h=0,02<4,02=Ft).

ABSTRACT
This research is motivated by the importance of the Mathematical literacy capability which is still considered
low student at SMPN 6 Kota Serang. Therefore, researcher apply learning Realistic Mathematics Education
approach, since this approach is expected to improve the ability of Mathematical literacy of students. This study
aims to determine whether the ultimate achievement and increase the ability of Mathematical literacy of students
who received study with Realistic Mathematics Education approach better than students who obtain lessons
learned common applied in accordance with 2013 curriculum have there is a positive correlate of the ability of
literacy Mathematical students. The method used in this research is the method of combination (mixed method)
with incorporation of QUANTITATIVE-qualitative and concurrent embedded design.. The results of the study
concludes that the ultimate achievement and increase the ability of Mathematical literacy experimental class is
better than the control class.

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this research is the development of instructional material of linear course program. This type of
research is development research. Data collection used by means of validation, observation, questionnaires,
interviews and tests. Validation is performed to determine the validity and development of the Linear Program
module. Obvervations, questionnaires and interviews were conducted to determine the practicality of developing
the Linear Program module. The module of development result can be said to be quite valid because it meets the
criteria of a good module, the development result module meets the criteria of practicality because the students
give the assessment through questionnaire with a good enough score, based on test results prporsi and t test can
be concluded that the module of development results in research This can be said to be effective in improving
student learning outcomes

THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SELF REGULATED LEARNING


WITH STUDENTS' MATHEMATICAL UNDERSTANDING ABILITY

ABSTRACT
This study aims to see the relationship between self regulated learning with students' mathematical
understanding ability. This research was conducted on the students of class XI MM SMK GaluhRahayuCiamis.
The sample consists of 30 students. The research instrument consisted of a questionnaire of self regulated
learning and a matter of students' comprehension ability. The research method using product moment
correlation test to see the strength of the relationship and t test to test the hypothesis. Based on the result of data
analysis the correlation value is 0.674 with medium criterion. The results of data analysis also found that the
significance value of 0.000 less than 0.05 thus it can be concluded that there is a relationship betweenself
regulated learning with students' mathematical understanding ability

ABSTRACT
The purpose of the research is improve the learning outcomes of differential equations by applying active
learning type every one is a teacher here (ETH) for students of Mathematics Education Bung Hatta University.
The type of research is classroom action research. The research was conducted from April 27, 2017 to May 18,
2017 in the course class of Mathematics Education Bung Hatta University.. The research was conducted in 2
cycles consisting of 4 stages, namely planning, action implementation, observation and reflection. In cycle I
obtained the percentage of students who have a minimum value equivalent to C + is 6.67%, while in cycle II is
46.67%. Conclusion of research is the application of active learning type ETH can improve student outcomes
learning of Mathematics Education Program FKIP University Bung Hatta in the course of differential equations .

ABSTRACT
This study is a development research based on 4-D model. The developed teaching material is a valid, effective
and effective reflective-based module in Calculus I, which can help students learn independently by utilizing
their previous experience or knowledge to improve students' mathematical abilities. This research consists of
two stages of 4-D design, those are define and design stageThe analysis of the textbook used is Calculus and
Analytical Sciences Leithold edition 5th edition volume 1, Edwin J. Purchell and Dale Van Verberg's ninth
edition calculus, the result is that the language used is not suitable with the students' ability in the Khairun
University Mathematics Education Department. Interviews with colleagues found that students still had
constraints on basic mathematical abilities, such as on the properties of algebra and sequence properties. The
result of the design stage has been modulated based on reflective-based module design.

ABSTRACT
The fluctuation of the crime rate is one of the major problems in Indonesia which has a negative impact on the
quality of young generation. Therefore, statistical method by using multinomial logistic regression analysis
require for classify the facial features of prisoners from crime types. In this research, the response variables are
narcotics crime, murder, and theft. The latent variable that affecting the response variables is the characteristics
of persons face. Based on ratio odds with significant level is 0.05, it is known that there are four explanatory
variables which together give significant influence on the characteristic prisoner crimes in Jakarta. Variables
that partially influence criminal acts of theft are the types of hair, the shape of eyes and the shape of face. While
the partially influential variables for narcotic crime are the types of hair and the shape of eyes.

ABSTRACT
The objectives of this research are to develop and to know practically of mathematical logic teaching material
based on Islamic values. The research type is R&D that using Borg and Gall model namely research and
information collecting, planning, develop a preliminary form of product, preliminary field testing, main product
revision, main field testing, operational product revision. The product is validated by 3 experts ie material
experts, design experts, and Islamic experts. Fields testing is conducted at MAN 1 Lampung Timur. The
preliminary field testing by 12 students and main field testing by 16 students. The result of experts validation is
obtained an average percentage of 77.37%. Then the result of preliminary field testing is obtained an average
percentage of 82.5%, the result of main field testing is obtained an average percentage of 71.4%. So it can be
concluded that this product is feasible and practical for use in the learning process.

ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat model materi ajar matematika untuk siswa SMK bidang keahlian bisnis
dan manajemen berdasarkan pendekatan kontekstual. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mempersiapkan lulusan
SMK yang siap digunakan di lapangan kerja, sehingga diperlukan materi ajar matematika sesuai dengan
kebutuhan lapangan kerja. Oleh karena itu, penelitian pengembangan materi ajar ini berdasarkan pendekatan
kontekstual.Banyak masalah muncul terkait dengan buku ajar yang digunakan di SMK Bisnis dan Manajemen.
Masalah muncul di lapangan antara lain, banyak Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) menggunakan buku yang
sama dengan yang digunakan di Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) atau Madrasah Aliyah (MA). Masalah lainnya
yaitu banyak siswa sulit memahami buku ajar yang disarankan pemerintah karena cenderung teoretis. Bahkan
guru pun merasa sulit memahami buku ajar tersebut. Selain itu, buku paket yang banyak beredar tidak sesuai
dengan tuntutan kebutuhan kerja siswa di masa yang akan datang. Hasil analisis kebutuhan diperoleh
berdasarkan kuisioner yang telah disebarkan kepada guru, siswa, dan alumni bahwa buku matematika SMK
bisnis manajemen memerlukan buku yang spesifik sesuai dengan dunia kerja lulusan.

ABSTRACT
This research concerning about how to solve the mathematic problems properly depends on necessary analysis,
and then need a renewable learning method that named problem based learning method. But the method should
be developed by Engklek games as a herritage in Pandeglang in case to let students actively have a critical
thinking, creative and solving the problems mathematically well. This research is purposed to describe the
problem based leaening method to increase the thinking math skill in accompanied by sylabus learning tools,
RPP, and learning media which can be applied in learning process and tested out the developed method. Based
on the research can be conclude that the learning method can increasr the thinking math skill of Mathlaul
Anwar Global School students.

ABSTRACT
Error and causes of students to make mistakes in solving the cube and block shape of the story based on stages
analysis method Kastolan. This research was descriptive qualitative research. These research subjects were 38
students from class VIII B MTs Negeri Sukoharjo. Technique of data in this research is to using the test method,
interviews, and documentation. Data validation was done by triangulation technique by comparing the test data,
interviews, and documentation. Data analysis technique was done by means of data reduction, data presentation,
and verification of data and making conclusions. Based on the analysis we concluded that (1) 35,26% of
students experienced a conceptual error with the level qualificaton low error, (2) 56,32% of students
experienced procedural error with a medium qualification level error, and (3) 47,89% students experienced
technical error with a medium qualification levels. The causes of the error is that students do not understand the
intent of the problem, students are wrong in choosing the formula, students can not apply the formula, not
appropriate steps in solving the problem, students do not practice in doing the problem, meticulous in answering
questions, and in a hurry so as not to check back the results of this work.

ABSTRACT
Introduction to Real Analysis is one of the major courses in mathematical analysis group. By studying this
course, students will be able to get used to think logically, coherently and acceptable reason. However, learning
the course of Introduction to Real Analysis is often feel abstract for the students, the students still have
difficulties in this course. Concept map is one of a learning model that can help students to understand the
concepts and linking inter-related concepts in real analysis. This is a research and development research in
Mathematics Education Program FKIP UMS. The initial stage of this research is to design a teaching and
learning model in the course of Introduction to Real Analysis based on concept map. In this paper, it will be
presented learning activities of students performed in each stage of learning by using concept map.

ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine the ability of mathematical problem solving (KPMM) of students through the
model of learning problem based learning (PBL). This study used quasi-experimental method with the control
group design of pretest and non-equivalent postes. The subject of this research is the fourth semester student of
the academic year 2016/2017 at the mathematics education program at PGRI University of Palembang which
amounted to 62 people. Based on the learning, the research subjects are divided into two classes, namely the
experimental class that get the PBL learning and control class that get conventional learning (PK). Instruments
in this study using KPMM test. The data in this study were analyzed using t-test. From the data analysis, it is
found that students' mathematical problem solving ability through PBL learning is better than those who get
conventional learning in terms of overall or KAM (high, medium, low).

ABSTRACT
The purpose of the research is improve the learning outcomes of differential equations by applying active
learning type every one is a teacher here (ETH) for students of Mathematics Education Bung Hatta University.
The type of research is classroom action research. The research was conducted from April 27, 2017 to May 18,
2017 in the course class of Mathematics Education Bung Hatta University. The subjects of the research were
students of Mathematics Education Study Program which followed the course of differential equations with 30
researchers. The research was conducted in 2 cycles consisting of 4 stages, namely planning, action
implementation, observation and reflection. In cycle I obtained the percentage of students who have a minimum
value equivalent to C + is 6.67%, while in cycle II is 46.67%. Conclusion of research is the application of
active learning type ETH can improve student outcomes learning of Mathematics Education Program FKIP
University Bung Hatta in the course of differential equations.

ABSTRACT
This research is motivated because many students of mathematics education who think that the real analysis
subject that is learned in semester 5 is a difficult material to understand. Then need to research on how the
contribution of this prerequisite subjects for the real analysis ability. The method used is quantitative method
with ex post facto type. Population in this research is student of mathematics education of FKIP UHAMKA
2014 academic year which take real analysis counted 164 people. The sample was taken by using simple
random sampling and stratified random sampling method and obtained 100 samples (84 female and 16 male).
Instruments in this study using non-test instrument (the score list of PDM, KPB and Real Analysis). Research
has shown that: (1) There is a positive and significant contribution OF PDM's ability for Real Analysis Ability;
and (2) There is a positive and significant contribution of KPB capability FOR Real Analysis Ability.

ABSTRACT
This classroom action research aims to improve the learning outcomes of mathematics on the equations and
quadratic function in X IPS 1 on SMAN 3 Kabupaten Tangerang. This research conduted in X IPS 1 on SMAN
3 Kabupaten Tangerang district 2016/2017 academic year. The subjects of this research is 40 students. This
research is the class action research and using reciprocal teaching. Based on research that has been carried out
can be concluded following hings: the class average outcomes before the ation is 58.65 with average KKM
achievements 30%, the outcomes in 1st cycle increased tp 70.4 with average KKM achievements 60%, and on
the 2th cycle increased to 78.53 with average KKM achievements 77.5%, this research indicated that lesson
learned by reciprocal teaching can improve students mathematics learning outcomes on the equations and
quadratic function equation of class I IPS 1.

ABSTRACT
One of mathematics ability that must have junior high school students is a mathematics problem solving ability.
In fact, the mathematics problem solving ability of junior high school students is low. The aim of this research
to know the effect of cooperative learning model think pair share type to students mathematics problem solving
ability. This research held on students of class VII SMPN 09 Bekasi. The sampling technique used cluster
sampling technique. Samples of this research are 84 students. The method of this research is pre-experiment
type static group comparison. Results of hypothesis testing using t-test obtained with significance level of 0,05
was obtained = 3,4133 > 1,6697 = then 0 is rejected. The conclusion of this research that there is
the effect of cooperative learning model think pair share type to students mathematics problem solving ability.

ABSTRACT
This classroom action research aims to improve the students mathematics outcome learning on the circle
through LAS based guided discovery method. The research subject is grade VIII-C SMPN 113 Jakarta has 33
students. The indicators of the success of the value of the average class at 75.00 and 85% of 33 students get
score 70.00. Based on the result of evaluation at first cycle research gained an average value of class 66.39
with percentage reaches the minimum completeness criteria 63.64%. The second cycle research gained an
average value of class is 73.03 with percentage reaches the minimum completeness criteria 78.79%. The third
cycle research gained an average value of class is 77.18 with percentage reaches the minimum completeness
criteria 93.94%. So, it can be concluded that the LAS based guided discovery method can improve students
mathematics outcome learning on the circle in grade VIII-C SMPN 113 Jakarta.

ABSTRACT
The low of students mathematics conceptual understanding ability is caused by the teaching methods of
monotonous teachers and students who were accustomed to memorizing the formula, it makes students bored
and doesnt active in learning activities so that students were less able to understand the concept in mathematics
lessons. Then, the purpose of this research is to know of avability or unavability effect of Problem Based
Learning (PBL) model to students mathematics conceptual understanding ability. This research was held on
students of class VII in SMPN 269 Jakarta the second semester of the school year 2016/2017. The sampling
technique used Cluster Sampling technique. The method used of Quasi Experiment method. According to the
results of hypothesis test used t-test was obtained H0 is rejected so that it can be concluded that there is influence
of Problem Based Learning (PBL) model to students mathematics conceptual understanding ability in SMPN
269 Jakarta.

ABSTRACT
The students ability of mathematical reasoning is required, so the students could solved the problems. The
study aims to find out whether there is or there isnt effect of Scientific Approach on Mathematical Reasoning
Ability of Students. The hypothesis of this study was: there is an influence of Scientific Approach on
Mathematical Reasoning Ability of Students. The samples of this study are 60 students. This study used a
quasi experimental design. The sampling technique using cluster random sampling. The instruments consisted
of mathematical reasoning ability test include of validity test with product moment correlation formula,
reliability test with alpha cronbach formula. The requirement analysis test by normality test using lilliefors
test and homogeneity test using fisher test. The result of this study concludes that there is an effect by
scientific approach to mathematical reasoning abilities of students.

ABSTRACT
This classroom action research aims to improve mathematical connection ability in integral topic of students in
class XI IPS 1 SMA Negeri 3 Tangerang. The study of class action is based on the low average daily test score
before the action. The hypothesis of action research proposed in this research is improving students'
mathematical connection ability with PBL model in class XI IPS 1 even semester SMA Negeri 3 Tangerang".
The subjects were 37 students. Based on the research that has been done can be summed up things as follows:
on the students' Mathematical Connection ability before the action, the average grade 68.135 with percentage
achievement KKM 48.65% and on the mathematical connection ability of students cycle I, the average value
goes up to 73.432 with the percentage of achievement of KKM 64.86% while in cycle II, the average value
increased to 78.270 with achievement KKM 83.78%.

ABSTRACT
This classroom action research aims to improve the students mathematics outcomes in the sequence course
through learning based on APOS theory. The research was done at SMA Negeri 60 Jakarta. The subjects were
students of class XI MIPA 2 SMA Negeri 60 Jakarta, amounting to 33 students. The method used is the
Classroom Action Research(CAR) Kurt Lewins type. The result of this research are the average of students
mathematical reasoning ability in pre-cycle is 46.0 precentage of KKM is 0%. The average of students
mathematical reasoning ability in cycle I is 44.1 precentage of KKM achievement is 15.2%. The average of
students in cycle II is 79.0 precentage of KKM is 75.8%. The average of students in cycle III is 85.0 with a
precentage of KKM is 90.9%. concluded that Learning Based on APOS Theory can improve mathematical
reasoning ability of students in class XI MIPA 2 SMA Negeri 60 Jakarta.

ABSTRACT
Critical thinking ability of mathematics mastered by students is very important. An approach that can improve
both of them is problem-based learning model. This research aims are to determine: the improvement of
students critical thinking ability between the class which used problem-based learning and the one which used
conventional learning. Samples are taken from 72 students by using Cluster Random Sampling. This research
uses a Pre-experiment method with static group comparison design type. The instrument examination is
analyzed by the validity, reliability, difficulty, and diversity. Test requirements performed by normality test and
homogeneity test. The hypothesis test is using t-test at the level of significance is 5% resulted on hitung >
tabel , which means H0 is being denied and the conclusion is there is a significant influence from the use of
Problem-Based Learning model assisted by Autograph towards the Ability of Mathematical Critical Thinking of
Students at SMA Negeri 13 Depok.

ABSTRACT
The purpose of the research is to find all the differences of mathematical problem solving ability of students
between problem based learning model with contextual teaching and learning model. This research was
conducted at eighth grade on 34 Vocation High School in Jakarta in semester academic 2016/2017. The research
method is Quasi Experiment. Before the data analyzed, first tested the requirements of the test for normality
with Lilliefors test, and homogenety with Fisher test. Normality test for the experimental first class and the
experimental second class, it can be conclude that both normally distributed data. The calculation results
obtained homogenety from two classes it can be also conclude that the two classes are the same variety.
Hypothesis testing using t test was obtained > , 0 = 2,80 > 2,01. This means reject, then the
results of this examination concluded that there are differences of mathematical problem solving ability of
students between are problem based learning model with contextual teaching and learning model.

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this research was to analyze the ability of students mathematical understanding concept taught
by Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP). The research was held on 108 Junior High School Jakarta in academic
year at 2016/2017. The research used quasi experimental method, involving 71 students as the sample. The
samples using cluster random sampling. The data of ability of students mathematical understanding concept
was valid and reliable.. The result showed that there was the effect of the Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP)
Model of the ability of students mathematical understanding concept with the high level of the effect size. It
can be seen from the average value the ability of students mathematical understanding concept who ware taught
with the model of Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) were higher than the average ability of students
mathematical understanding concept who were not taught by the model of the Missouri Mathematics Project
(MMP).

ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine whether or not the influence of contextual teaching and learning approach aided
wingeom software to the ability of solving the problem of student geometry. The research was conducted in
Grade VIII SMP Negeri 171 Jakarta in the even semester of the academic year 2016. The sample in this study
were 69 students consisting of 34 experimental classes and 35 control classes. The method used in this research
is pre-experiment design Posttest Only Control Design. Hypothesis test result using t-test obtained result 0
rejected. Result of effect effect size calculation is high. The conclusion of this research is that there is influence
of contextual teaching and learning approach with wingeom software to solve the problem of geometric problem
in SMP Negeri 171 Jakarta.

ABSTRACT
The study aims to determine whether or not there are differences in students' mathematical reasoning abilities
with an inductive approach and a deductive approach based on the learner's worksheet. The sample used was 70
students consisting of 34 students in the experimental class 1 and 36 students in the experimental class
2.Experientment method is a method used by researchers. Type of research instrument used are essay
description of 4 valid and reliable questions. The difference in percentage of mathematical reasoning ability in
both experiments was 0.86%. Hypothesis test is done by t-test with result tresult = 2,5173 > 1,6687 = tcrtis so it can
be known that H0 is rejected, which means conclusion there is difference of mathematical reasoning ability
learners use inductive approach and deductive approach based on learners worksheet.

ABSTRACT
This study aimed to determine the effect of Think Aloud Pair Problem Solving methods to the students
mathematical communication capabilities. Research methods used was Quasi Experimental type posttest-only
design. The population in this study are all students of class XI class at Senior High School 60 Jakarta. The
sampling technique used Cluster random sampling and obtained sample of 72 sample class XI in the even
semester of academic year 2016/2017. The instrument of this research is a test of mathematical communication
ability which has been tested the validity of content, advance and construct then validity, reliability. Prerequisite
testing in the form of normality test by using Lilliefors test and homogeneity using Fisher test, and distributed
normal and homogeneous. The calculation results obtained tresult 9.4661 with ttable of 1.6683 and significant at
of 5%.. The result of this research concludes that there is influence of Think Aloud Pair Problem Solving
Methods to Mathematical Communication Ability of Students in SMA Negeri 60 Jakarta. The effect of the
method is 2.3267.

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this research is to know the differences of students reasoning mathematical ability with predict,
observe, explain (poe) model and predict, observe, explain, write (poew) model. This research used static group
comparison design. Sample of this research are 8 th grade with 31 students from treatment 1 and 30 students from
treatment 2.The requirement analysis test by normally test used the Liliefors test and homogenity test used the
Fisher test. The mathematical reasoning abilitys score analysis used t-test and obtained value of t result =
2,132 > 2,001 = t 0,975(59) with significant = 0,05 which means the hypothesis of this research is reject H0 .

ABSTRACT
The research was held at 110 Junior High School South Jakarta in VII class at the odd semester of the school
year 2016/2017. The method used is Method of pre-experiment. The technique of sampling using cluster
random sampling. The samples of this research are 72 students consist of 36 from experiment class and 36 from
control class. The instrument of retrieval data using written essay test. The validity test by using product
moment there are 11 valid questions. Reliability test result is reliable. Data are normally distributed and
homogeny. Hypothesis testing is done using t-test with a significance level of 5% and obtained it means reject .
So this means there is the influence of the uing Two Stay Two Stray Model to the Students Ability of
Mathematical Understanding Concept Aided Props.

ABSTRACT
This study aimed to determine the effect of joke mathematics ice breaking on students understanding
mathematics concept ability at 37 junior high school jakarta. This research was conducted at 37 junior high
school jakarta. The population of this research were 36 students in experiment class and 36 students in control
class. This research used pre experiment method. Sampling technique used is the technique of cluster random
sampling. The instrument that used to this research is understanding mathematics concept ability test by essay.
Validity instrument test used corelation product moment formula toward 34 students from results trial obtained
8 valid question from 10 question. Question that is valid then reliability used Alpha formula and obtained
= 0,484 > 0,339 = c, so instrument for this research is reliabel and proper to used. Hypothesis test used test-t
obtained = 4,334 > 1,668 = c with significance = 0,05. So, it meand that 0 is rejected. Effect size
obtained 0,909 (hight criteria). So, the results of this study concluded that there is understanding of the concept
of mathematical ability of students who are taught by joke mathematics ice breaking.

ABSTRACT
The research is to know whether any correlation between communicative character and the students
mathematical understanding concept ability. Hypothesis which is proposed that any correlation
communicative character and students mathematical understanding concept. This research at SMP
Negeri 179 Jakarta 2016/2017. The research using survey method by correlation techniques. The
hypothesis uses the correlation analyzis of product moment is low category, it means there are 13,4%
contribution the communicative character with the students mathematical understanding concept.
And then the significance of correlation test is done by using t-students it is found that tresult greater
than ttablel, it means that the result of this research is that there is correlation communicative character
with the students mathematical understanding concept.

ABSTRACT
This research aims to know there is The Difference of Student Mathematic Spatial Ability between Discovery
and Expository Learning. This research uses Quasi Experiment method. The population in this research is the
students at 8th grader of 1 Junior High School in Pandeglang in the years lesson 2016/2017. The samples of
technique using cluster random sampling with 65 students. Instrument of research used before being tested face
validity, content, and construct further tested the validity and reliability. To condition analysis test, in this
research using Lilliefors test to normality and Fisher test to homogenity. Hypothesis test using t-test obtained
value = 2,55 with () = 5% for significant level. The results of this research has conclusion that there are the
difference of student mathematic spatial ability between discovery and expository learning.

ABSTRACT
The ability of understanding mathematical concepts of students is one of the ability of mathematics, students
understanding mathematic concept ability is very necessary in proces learning mathematics because with the
ability to understanding mathematical concepts students can understanding, connect ideas or concepts that have
been owned to new concepts and solve math problems. This study aims to determine the effect of cooperative
learning type Group Investigation to the students understanding mathematic concept ability. This research
method used is Experimental Method which includes pre-experimental design type posttest control group
design. Sampling technique using Cluster Random Sampling and obtained sample of 66 students at JHS 105
Jakarta, class VII in the even semester of academic year 2016/2017. Cooperative learning model type Group
Investigation have effect to students understanding mathematic concept ability with moderate categorical effect
that is equal.

ABSTRACT
The aims of this study is determine whether there is any difference in the improvement of mathematical
communication ability of the students VII grade using Learning Model Predict, Observe, Explain (POE) assisted
Software Cabri II Plus. The research method used Quasi Experimental Design with Design Study of
Nonequivalent Control Group Design. To find out the effectiveness of data improvement of mathematic
communication ability in this research using determination of normalized Gain and Gain Index which then
tested the prerequisite data analysis to produce normal and homogenous data. Hypothesis testing using t-test
with the number of samples 53 students and significant level of 0.05 obtained then all in all =
7.145 (11) = 2.006 or = 7.145 (11) = 2.006, there is a difference in the increase of

ABSTRACT
Classroom action research is aimed to improve students learning creativity with Guided Inquiry method on flat
side room material which was carried out in April-May 2017. Based on the results of research that has been
done can be concluded that the average value of mathematics learning outcomes of students at pre-cycle is 60.03
with a percentage of achievement of KKM of 37.1%, the average value of mathematics learning outcomes in the
cycle I 71.66 with the percentage of KKM achievement of 57.1% and In Cycle II the average value of student
learning outcomes of 78.94 with the percentage of KKM achievement of 82.90%. In addition to the Cycle I and
Cycle II tests, students are also given the task of mathematical projects. The results of this study concluded that
through Guided Inquiry method can improve students' learning creativity in class VIII-H SMP Negeri 1
Ciawigebang.

ABSTRACT
This research aim to knows is there any influence of the application of cooperative jigsaw learning assisted song
of UNBATAR through the students mathematical conceptual understanding abilities. This is quasi
experimental research type by providing treatment of the subject. The population of this research are the entire
7th grade students in SMP Negeri 53 Jakarta, and the samples are VII-4 as the experimental class and VII-3 as
the kontrol class that homogen and having a normal distribution. The post test result was analized using t-test.
The result of one part of t-test was > shows the average result of conceptual understanding abilities
of the experimental class was better than the kontrol class. The conclusion is that the application of cooperative
jigsaw learning assisted song of UNBATAR having a positive influence to the conceptual understanding
abilities in SMP Negeri 53 Jakarta.

ABSTRACT
The research aimed to know difference in students improvement of mathematical reasoning ability through
laboratory method using Software Cabri II Plus. This research method is quasi experimental with nonequivalent
control group design. The research used purposive sampling method to obtained sample that representative and
it got 65 student with 32 student for experiment class and 33 student for control class. The data is in normal
distribution and both with homogenous variance. From hypotetical test, by comparing n-gain from both class,
was used t-test with tvalue=1,951>1,669=tkritis. The research shows that there is difference in student improvement
of mathematical reasoning ability through laboratory method using software Cabri II Plus.

ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine the effect of learning open-ended approach to the ability to understand students'
mathematical concepts. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 77 Jakarta class VIII even semester of
academic year 2016/2017. The samples studied were 72 students consisting of 36 students of experimental class
and 36 students of control class. Test instrument of this study was done by testing the validity of the problem,
from 14 questions on the instrument 13 questions declared valid and reliable. Before the data were analyzed, the
normality and homogeneity test were first performed. From the results of the normality and homogeneity of the
two classes can be expressed to have normal and homogeneous distributed data. Hypothesis testing conducted
by t-test gives conclusion that there is influence of open-ended approach to students' mathematical concept
comprehension ability.

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this research is to improve students mathematical reasoning abilities on the geometry of class
XI IPS 4 SMA Negeri 1 Megamendung. This research using discovery learning method is done by using two
implementation, each cycle consist of 4 stages; (1) planning, (2) implementation, (3) observation, (4) reflection.
This study shows that the implementation of learning by applying discovery learning method has been running
well but still constrained by the management of time. The results showed an increase the average score of 60,8
in first cycle, 75,9 in second cycle. As well as increasing the percentage of students who passed the criteria of
minimum success rate of 28,12% in first cycle, 75% in second cycle. A summary of the end this research is to
increase the ability of mathematical reasoning of students on the geometry in class XI IPS 4 SMA Negeri 1
Megamendung.

ABSTRACT
This classroom action research aims to improve students' understanding of mathematical concepts on flat
geometry topic in 7 Grade of Junior High School 7 Bekasi. The hypothesis of action proposed in this research
is "Improving Ability of Understanding Mathematical Concept of Learners Through Guided Discovery Learning
in 7 Grade of Junior High School 7 Bekasi". This research was conducted in 7 Grade of Junior High School
7 Bekasi. Subjects of this study amounted to 39 learners. Based on the research that has been done, the findings
are as follows: the average value of the class before the action (61.43), Cycle I (68.84), and Cycle II (81.43).
The average achievement of KKM the class before the action (15.38 %), Cycle I (48.72%), and Cycle II
(82.03%), hence result of this research indicate that study using guided discovery learning can improve the
ability of understanding mathematical concept of learners in 7 Grade.

ABSTRACT
The research aims to find the influence of learning model SAVI (somatic, auditory, visualization, intellectually)
to students' mathematical problem solving abilities. The research was be done at 103 Jakarta Junior High School
in 8th grade even semester, academic year 2016-2017. There were 70 students as samples which taken by using
Cluster Random Sampling. This research used Quasi Experiment method type posttest-only design. The
instrument try out by using validity test, reability test, level of difficulty, and discrimination power. Normality
test trough Lilliefors Test and homogenety test using Fisher Test. The result of hypotesis test which using t-test
with significance 0.05 was obtained tcount of 3,486 . Then the influence was classifield with Effect Size was
obtained 0,8. the research concluded that there was the influence of learning model SAVI to students'
mathematical problem solving abilities at 103 Jakarta Junior High School with criteria of high.

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this research was to improve students Mathematics learning outcomes on Derivation of
algebraic functions through cooperative learning model of Numbered Head Together (NHT) at class XI
Keagamaan in MAN 10 Jakarta. Based on the result of the research: the mean of the class before the research
was 64,97 with the students presentation who reached The Minimum Criteria of Mastery Learning (KKM)
35,29% and who was below The Minimum Criteria of Mastery Learning (KKM) 64,71%. The mean of the class
in cycle I increased to 77,82 with students presentation who reached The Minimum Criteria of Mastery
Learning (KKM) 67,65%, and who was below The Minimum Criteria of Mastery Learning (KKM) 32,35% and
the mean of the class in cycle II increased to 87,09 with students presentation who reached The Minimum
Criteria of Mastery Learning (KKM) 97,05%, and who is below The Minimum Criteria of Mastery Learning
(KKM) 2,95%.

ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine whether or not the influence of AIR(Auditory, Intelectually, Repetition) learning
model assisted Cabri 3D software to LAS based mathematically problem solving ability. This research was
conducted in SMP Negeri 2 Bekasi in class VIII even semester of academic year 2016-2017. The sample was
taken by Cluster Random Sampling by taking 61 students. This research uses Quasi Experiment method
posttest-only design type. Test the instrument with validity, reliability, distinguishing, and difficulty test. Test
requirement ie normality test with Lilliefors test, and homogeneity test with Fisher test. Hypothesis testing using
t-test was obtained tcount of 3.923 with a significance 0.05. Then the influence was classified with Effect Size was
obtained 0.776 with medium criterion. This research can be concluded that there is influence of AIR (Auditory,
Intelectually, Repetition) learning model assisted Cabri 3D software to LAS based mathematically problem
solving ability.

ABSTRACT
The aims of this research is to find out whether, is there or no the Influence of VAK (Visual, Auditory,
Kinesthetic) learning model facilitated with geoboard to the matematically problem-solving ability at SMPN 20
Jakarta. This research is motivated by the lack of problem solving ability in SMPN 20 Jakarta. The research was
conducted at SMPN 20 Jakarta in VII class even semester of 2016-2017. There were 60 students as samples
which taken by using Cluster Sampling. This research used Quasi Eksperiment method. Analysis test who used
to this research is Normality test trough Lilliefors Test and homogenety test using Fisher Test. The Result of the
hypotheses testing used t-test was obtained tcount of 2,146 with signigficance 0,05. So, There are influence of
matematically problem-solving ability using VAK (Visual, Auditory, Kinesthetic) learning model facilitated
with Geoboard at SMPN 20 Jakarta and the effect size of this research is 0,6.

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this research to determine whether there is not any effect of realistic mathematics approach
assisted by software Cabri II Plus on conceptual understanding of mathematical ability of students. This
research used Quasi Experimental. Sampling technique using cluster sampling and get sampling as many as 80
at SMP Negeri 11 Depok on academic 2016/2017. This research instrument is test conceptual understanding of
mathematical abilities that have been validity and reliability. Before the results were analyzed, first tested the
requirement analysis test by normality test used the Lilliefors and homogenity used the Fisher. The result of this
research got is 2,752 with significance 0,05. Conclusion of this research that there is an effect of realistic
mathematics approach assisted by software Cabri II Plus on conceptual understanding of mathematical ability of
students with effect size as many as 0,560.

ABSTRACT
The result shows that the mathematical reasoning ability of the students of grade VIII-3 SMP Negeri 18
Tangerang has increased from cycle I to cycle II after the study was conducted with Group Investigation. This is
indicated by as many as 30 students or 79% have increased the ability of mathematical reasoning based on the
scores of aspects of mathematical reasoning ability. The average percentage of test scores increased from 37%
in I to 84% in cycle II and in high category. Based on the results of observation of the implementation of
learning with Group Investigation is good and is in accordance characteristics of Group Investigation. This is
indicated by the average percentage of implementation from 68.02% in cycle I to 83.42% in cycle II. Based on
the questionnaire of the observer's response to mathematical learning in relation to mathematical reasoning
ability, it has increased from cycle I to cycle II.

ABSTRACT
This research is motivated by the low value of the average of even semester test before given the action and the
low activity of students during the learning process. Based on preliminary observation before the average action
of students' mathematics learning outcomes of 69.471 with the percentage of achievement KKM 44.118%.
Evaluation test on the first cycle action obtained grade average value of 77.411 with the percentage of
achievement of minimum criterion of 67,647%. In the second cycle action obtained the average value of the
class of 80.176 with the percentage of achievement of minimum criterion 82.353%. The result of student activity
observation in cycle I reached 45,2% percentage and in cycle II increased to 80,6%. It can be concluded that
using PBL model assisted by PPT student can improve mathematics learning result of VIII E student E even
semester of SMP Negeri 49 Jakarta.

ABSTRACT
The research aims to find effect of learning PAIKEM model based LKPD to students' mathematical problem
solving abilities. There were 70 students as samples, that consist of 35 students of experimental class and 35
students of control class. The method used in this research is experiment. For collecting data this research used
test which consist of 4 items which already valid and reliable. Hypothesis testing using t-test obtained at
significance level = 0,05 and degrees of freedom (dk) 68 obtained t value= 2,421 > 1,668 =ttable, H0 is
rejected, which means there is effect of learning model PAIKEM based LKPD to students mathematical
problem solving abilities with effect size calculation of 0,589 by middle categories. That is the effect obtained
by middle categories.

ABSTRACT
This research aimed to found wether there is or there is not any effect of generative learning based worksheet
on students ability of mathematical reasoning.This research held at 105 Senior High School Jakarta in XI class
at the even semester of 2016/2017 academic year. The samples are 69 students consist of 34 from experiment
class and 35 from control class. This research uses quasi experimental design method. The samples
interpretation using cluster random sampling. The instrument used in this study is the ability to test students
mathematical reasoning in the form of an essay test as much as 6 items that have been tested the validity and
reliability. T-test was used to test the hypothesis with significance level 0,05, and the result was t value =
4,699 > 1,669 = t table , so H0 is rejected which mean there is effect of generative learning model based
worksheet to the students abilitiy of mathematical reasoning.

ABSTRACT
This research aimed is is to found wheter there is or there is not any effect of Problem Posing approach assissted
by Software Geogebra on conceptual understanding of mathematics. Comparative quantitative method was used
in this research was using cluster random sampling for experiment class and control class. For collecting data
this research used test which consist of 9 items which already valid and reliable. From the data we got t count =
3,786 > 1,669 = t table with significance 0,05. Which means there is effect of Problem Posing approach assisted
by Software Geogebra on conceptual understanding of mathematics ability of students. The effect size value is
0,829 which has in high category.

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this research is to investigate the influence of AIR model on students understanding of
mathematical concept on the triangle and rectangular topics. The research was conducted in 42 junior high
school. The research design used is quasi eksperimental design with post test only. To take the sample, the
research used cluster random sampling. The data are collected from students understanding of mathematical
concept ability test which was valid and reliable. The instrument is essay which consists of 14 item questions.
The data analysis used T-test. The result of sthe study shows that AIR teaching model has significant effect on
students understanding of mathematical concept.

ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine the differences in mathematical reasoning ability to SAVI (Somatic, Auditory,
Visual, Intellectual) learning model with AIR (Auditory, Intellectual, Repetition) learning model. The research
method used is Quasi Experimental type Posttest-only design. The population in this study are all students of
class VIII in SMPN 174 Jakarta. The sampling technique used Cluster random sampling and obtained sample of
64 student class VIII in the even semester of academic year 2016/2017. The instrument of this has been tested
by validity of content, advance and construct then validity, reliability. Prerequisite testing in the form of
normality test by using Lilliefors test and homogeneity using Fisher test, and distributed normal and
homogenous. The calculation results obtained t count of 2.1491 > 1,9993 t table and significant 0,05.

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this research was to analyze the effect of Problem Based Learning (PBL) model based on
Student Activity Sheet to the students ability of mathematical creative thinking of VII grade students of SMP
Negeri 41 Jakarta in academic year at 2016/2017. The research used quasi eksperimental method. The technique
of sampling using cluster random sampling. The samples of this research are 72 students consist of 36 from
experiment class and 36 from control class. The validity test by using Product Moment which are 7 valid
questions. Once treated, then the data is analyzed and the result for experiment class Lcount = 0.0740 <
0.1476 = Ltable and control class Lcount = 0.0870 < 0.1476 = Ltable are normally distributed. Hypothesis
testing is done using test-t with a significance level of 5% and obtained t count = 1.8713 > 1.6684 = t table it
means reject H0 . In conclusion there is influence in using Problem Based Learning (PBL) model based on
Student Activity Sheet to the students ability of mathematical creative thinking.

ABSTRACT
This research aims to improve the ability to think mathematical analogies on the material of building the flat
side space of students of grade VIII B SMP Bani Saleh 2 Bekasi. This study is a classroom action research
(PTK) using 2 cycles in class VIII B each cycle consists of 4 stages, namely: planning, implementation,
observation and reflection. The result of this research shows the improvement of thinking ability of
mathematical analogies of students VIII B with average value from 67,69 to 92,53 in cycle II and increasing of
student percentage reaching KKM from 30,76% to 96,15% in cycle II. In this study concluded that the model of
learning Treffinger can improve the ability to think mathematical analogies on the material of building the flat
side space of students in grade VIII B SMP Bani Saleh 2 Bekasi.

ABSTRACT
This study aims to know the influence of the learning model of Creative Problem Solving (CPS) against
deductive mathematical reasoning ability students. Sampling using cluster sampling technique. The sample used
as much as 48 students were divided into experimental class of 24 students and 24 students in grade control. The
method in this study using Quasi-Experimental Design. The research instrument used deductive mathematical
reasoning ability test in the form of descriptions which have been tested for validity and reliability. Prerequisite
test to determine normality and homogeneity using Lilliefors test and Fisher exact test. The results of data
analysis using tvalue obtained at 2.696 with a significance level of 0.05. Size Effect calculation
results obtained influence of 84.2% which included the major criteria. The conclusion of the CPS learning
model has a major influence on students' mathematical deductive reasoning abilities.

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this reaearch was to determine the effect of contextual learning approach to students'
mathematical communication ability at SMP N 1 Tambun Utara in academic year. The research method used is
quasi experimental method. Sampling was done by cluster random sampling consisting of 33 students of
experiment class and 38 students of control class. Data retrieval using a test instrument of mathematical
communication ability in the form of a description that has been tested its validity and reliability. From the test
result of mathematical communication ability of experiment class and control class students obtained normal
and homogenous distribution data, by testing the hypothesis using t-test to know the average level of students'
mathematical communication ability.

ABSTRACT
The aims of this classroom action research is to improve students mathematics understanding concept.
Classroom action research method used is Kurt Lewins model consisting of 4 stages, namely planning,
implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects in this study are students of class X-3 at Islamic High
School As-Syafiiyah 02 Pondok Gede as many as 27 students. The instruments used were observation sheets,
student worksheets and a questionnaire for each cycle. The results of this study indicate an increased
understanding of the concept of each cycle. This can be seen from the average score of students' understanding
of each cycle, that is, the first cycle is 50.23 and the second cycle is 75.37. The conclusion of this research is
that the use of open-ended approach can improve students mathematics understanding concept in class X-3 at
Islamic High School As-Syafiiyah 02 Pondok Gede.

ABSTRACT
The ability of mathematics concepts understanding is very necessary in the process of learning mathematics
because with the ability of mathematics concepts understanding student can understand the mathematical
material in depth and solve math problems. This study aims to determine whether or not the differences of
ability of students mathematics concepts understanding with Problem Based Learning (PBL) model and
Conventional Learning model. The research method used Static Group Comparison Design. The population of
this study is all students of class VIII in 105 Junior High School Jakarta Academic Year 2016/2017.
Determination of sample using Cluster Random Sampling technique, involving 70 students as sample. The
results test of the ability of students mathematics concepts understanding have met the prerequisite test analysis
and hypothesis testing. The result shows that there are differences in ability of students mathematics concepts
understanding with Problem Based Learning (PBL) model and Conventional Learning model.

ABSTRACT
This research aims to improve students mathematical reasoning ability on the topic of lines and angle using
contextual teaching and learning approach. The research method used in this study was class room action
research. The participants of this study were forty four 7th grade students in SMPN 33 Bekasi. The initial
average score was 42.386. The average of students mathematical reasoning ability score increased from cycle I
(43.182) to cycle II (70.076). The result of the study shows that contextual teaching and learning approach could
improve students mathematical reasoning ability on the topics of lines and angle for 7 th grade students in
SMPN 33 Bekasi.

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this research is to know the influence of SQ3R method through students understanding of
mathematical concept comprehension on the triangle and rectangular waking baseline materials. The method
used is quasi eksperimental with post test only. To take the sample, the research used cluster random sampling.
The data are from students understanding of mathematical concept ability test which was valid and reliable.
The research instrumen is essay which content only ten questions. The result of students understanding of
mathematical concept ability already meets the requirements analysis and hypothesis test. The technic of data
analysis with T- test. According to the calculation resulst of the hypotesis test, the research got t test was 2,208
and ttabel was 1,669. Since ttest > ttabel (2,208 > 1,669), that H1 is accepted, this means that learning math by using
SQ3R method have influence on students understanding of mathematical concept.

ABSTRACT
This research aims to know there is The Effects of Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) Approach
Assisted Microsoft Powerpoint To Ability Creative Thinking a Mathematics Student. This research
was held at 33 Junior High School in Bekasi, VIII grade in the second semester of school year
2016/2017. The samples of technique using cluster random sampling with 60 students, which consist
of 30 students for experiment class and 30 students for control class. The instrument test which is
given in this research consisted of 8 questions of essay typed. Before the data is analyzed, the
prerequisite test is first tested by normality test using Lilliefors test and homogeneity test using Fisher
test. Hypothesis test using t-test obtained tvalue = 3.388 with () 5% for significant level. This show
that there are an effects of realistic mathematics education (RME) approach assisted microsoft
powerpoint to ability creative thinking a mathematics student.

ABSTRACT

students ability of mathematical understanding concept.This research held at state Junior High School 24
Tangerang in VIII grade on the even semester of the school year 2016/2017. The samples are 70 students
consist of 35 from experiment class and 35 from control class. This research uses quasi experimental design
method. The samples interpretation using cluster random sampling. The instrument used in this study is
students ability of mathematical understanding concept in the form of an essay test as much as 9 items that have
been tested the validity and reliability. T-test was used to test the hypothesis with significance level 0,05, and
the result was t value = 3.040 > 1.668 = t table , so H0 is rejected which mean there is effect of concrete object

ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine whether or not the influence of contextual learning approaches to students'
mathematical reasoning abilities. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Pabuaran in class VIII even
semester of academic year 2016-2017. Population in this study all students SMP Negri 1 Pabuaran As many as
66 students. This research uses Quasi Eksperiment Method type posttest-only design. Sampling was done using
cluster random sampling. Hypothesis testing is done using t-test with significance level of 5% and obtained t
count 2.029 > 1.661 ttable which means reject H0. Conclusion that there is influence of Contextual learning
approach to Mathematical reasoning ability. Effect Size calculation results obtained an effect of 57.4% which
included moderate criteria, so that contextual learning approaches have a moderate effect on students'
mathematical reasoning abilities.

ABSTRACT
This study aims to know is there any difference in mathematical creatives thinking skills of students using
Visualization-Auditory-Kinestetic (VAK) Learning Model and Conventional Learning Model at Junior High
School 7 Bekasi. This research is a quantitative research and used experimental research method of Quasi
Experimental with design the static group comparison. The population used is the students of class VII and
obtained a sample of 70 students divided into 35 students of experimental class and 35 students of control class.
The sampling technique used cluster sampling method. Instrument is 6 essay questions that have been tested the
validity, reliability, difficulty level and discriminating power. The data of the research have been tested for
normality and homogeneity then obtained the result of normal distribution and homogeneous. The results of data
analysis using t value obtained at 2.71 with a significance level of 0.05.

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this research is to know the differences of students generalization mathematical ability with
Rotating Trio Exchange model and Question Student Have model. This research used static group comparison
design. Sample of this research are 8th grade with 30 students from treatment 1 and 30 students from treatment
2.The requirement analysis test by normally test used the Liliefors test and homogenity test used the Fisher test.
The mathematical generalization abilitys score analysis used t-test and obtained value of t count = 2,462 >
2,002 = t 0,975(58) with significant = 0,05 which means the hypothesis of this research is reject H0 . Thus,
conclusion of this research is there are differences of students generalization mathematical ability with Rotating
Trio Exchange model and Question Student Have model.

ABSTRACT
This classroom action research aims for improving students learning outcomes of mathematics subject on flat
geometry topic in students grade VII G SMP N 174 Jakarta in academic year 2016/2017. The problem of this
research is students low of learning outcomes on mathematics subject. Subject of this research is 30 student of
grade VII G consist of 14 male students and 16 female students. This classroom action research was conducted
using 3 cycles, every cycles consist of 4 phases such as palnning, implementation, observation, and reflection.
This research show that implementation of NHT cooperative learning has been goin well yet still constrained by
time management. As well as increasing on students percentage which is passed the KKM 23.33% on second
phase and 96.67% on third phase. It ca be concluded that NHT cooperative learning assisted by software cabri
II plus is able to improve students mathematics learning outcomes on flat geometry topic in grade VII G at
SMP N 174 JAKARTA academic year 2016/2017.

ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine the influence is there any type of STAD cooperative learning models and patterns
of drinking mineral water to the student mathematics learning outcomes. This research was conducted in the
SMPN 1 Cibeber in the 2nd half of the school year 2016/2017. The sampling technique used is the side cluster
sampling with quasi eksperiment research method. Learnig result data was btained through the instruments
tested at the end of the study. The result showed that the average score of the students learnig achievement on
the sybject of social arithmetic was 26,30 with standard deviation of 11,73 while the mean score of the control
class was 20,38 with standard deviation of 11,53. So it can be concluded that learning model using cooperative
types STAD and drinking water pettern is higher with learning does note use cooperative learning model of
STAD type and drinking mineral watern pattern.

ABSTRACT
This research aims to know the effect of pair checks model on mathematical communication ability. The
research was conducted on second year Junior High School student on even semester in the academic years
2016/2017. Before the treatment, the students were given mathematical communication written test in the
polyhedron subject. The result showed that the data were normally distributed and homogenuous between two
classes. After treatment, the hypotesist was tested using t-test and it was obtained that t value > t table (3,576 >
1,671), with significance level of 5%, which means that the H0 were rejected and it was concluded that there is
an effect of pair checks model on mathematical communication ability.

ABSTRACT
The students mathematical connection ability is one of math ability, this mathematical connection ability is
needed in the process of learning mathematics because with the mathematical connection ability, students can
understand and apply mathematical concepts to solve math problems. The aim of this research is to know
whether there is or no effect of realistic mathematics education applying to students mathematical connection
ability. The result of students mathematical connection ability test has met the prerequisite test of analysis and
hypothesis test. The result of the research shows that the effect of realistic mathematics education applying to
students mathematical connection ability with big influence is classified. This can be seen from the average of
mathematical connection ability of students who are taught with realistic mathematics education assessment is
higher compared with the average of mathematical connection ability of students who are not taught with
realistic mathematics education assessment.

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this research is to find out the influence of problem based learning (pbl) models assisted with
Cabri II Plus software toward the ability of mathematics creative thinking at Junior High School 1 Depok. This
research was held at Junior High School 1 Depok in 7th Graded. The samples of this research are 78 students.
Data collection techniques is using research instruments such as objective tests shaped description of as many as
7 items. Before the data were analyzed, it will be test requirements analysis that is normality test with test of
Lilliefors and homogenity test with test of Fisher. Test of data analysis using t-test with = 0,05 obtained
= 5,362 > 1,674 = . It means there are influence of problem based learning (pbl) models
assisted with Cabri II Plus software toward the ability of mathematics creative thinking.

ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine the influence of self-study model type MASTER towards on the ability to
understand students' mathematical concepts. The research method used Quasi Experiment type posttest control
group design. The population are 316 students. The sampling technique using Cluster Random Sampling and
obtained sample of 71 students at SMP Negeri 53 Jakarta, class VIII in the even semester of academic year
2016/2017. The research instrument is a conceptual ability comprehension test that has been tested for validity
and reliability. Prerequisite testing in the form of normality test by using Lilliefors test and homogeneity using
Fisher test, normal distributed data and has homogenous variance. The results of the students' ability to
comprehend the concept have met the prerequisite test of analysis and hypothesis test.

ABSTRACT
This research aims is to find the relationship between self efficacy with mathematics learning outcomes. The
research was conducted in SMP Negeri 03 South Tambun in the second semester of the academic year
2016/2017. Samples were taken by simple random sampling of 30 students. Data collection technique used
questionnaire of self efficacy as many as 22 questions and math achievement test of 20 multiple choice
questions that have been tested for validity and reliability. The analysis technique used is the product moment
correlation analysis followed by a simple correlation coefficient significance test using Student t test at
significance level. Test research instrument used in this study is Lilliefors test for normality. Normality
questionnaire self efficacy acquired Lvalue = 0.113, whereas in mathematics learning outcomes obtained L value =
0.97, then thank H0 means that the sample comes from a population of normal distribution.

ABSTRACT
This research aims to determine is the any influence of ICT assisted realistic mathematics learning on students
mathematical problem solving ability. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 95 Jakarta in class VII in the
second semester of academic year 2016/2017 with the topics of rectagles and triangles. Sampling using cluster
sampling technique. The method in this study using Quasi-Experimental Design. The research instrument used
is test of mathematical problem solving ability containing 7 items in essay form that has been tested for validity
and reliability. The pre-analysis showed that the data normally distributed used Lilliefors test and the
homogeneity used Fisher test. The hypothesis test used t-test show of 1.956 with a significance level of
0.05. The conclusions is the influence of ICT assisted realistic mathematics learning on students mathematical
problem solving ability.

ABSTRACT
This research aims to determine whether there is a difference in the ability of students to understand
mathematical concepts using Problem Based Learning (PBL) model and Expository learning model. This study
is a quasi-experimental research with Randem's research design on the subject. The research was conducted at
SMP Negeri 1 Depok in grade VII. The sample used is class VII-C as a class using PBL model and class VII-B
as a class using expository model. The research instrument used is the ability test of mathematical concept
conception. Based on the results of the research, it is known that: There is a difference in the ability of
understanding mathematical concepts between students who get PBL learning model with expository learning
model.

ABSTRACT
The ability of understanding mathematical concepts is very important for students because the mathematical
concepts that one with the other are interrelated, so that students are able to solve problems either in math
problems or in everyday life. this study aims to determine whether or not there is a difference in the ability to
understand the mathematical concepts of students taught by using problem solving methods and lecture
methods. After treatment, then the data were analyzed by normality test with Lilliefors test and homogeneity test
by using Fisher test. From result of testing requirement analysis which include homogeneity test and normality
test is known that both classes are in normal distribution and in homogeneous condition, so it can be continued
to test the research hypothesis using uji t and get rejection result H0 meaning there is difference of concept
comprehension ability mathematically using Problem Solving method and lecture method.

ABSTRACT
The aims of this study is to know whether there is any influence or not in Problem Posing model on Students
Mathematical Critical Thinking Ability assisted by Software Wingeom. The research is held on students grade
VIII in the second semester at SMP Negeri 37 Jakarta. Samples are taken from 69 students by using Cluster
Random Sampling. This research uses a Quasi experiment method with static group comparison design type.
The instrument examination is analyzed by the validity, reliability, and difficulty. Test requirements performed
by normality test and homogeneity test. The hypothesis test is using t-test at the level of significance is 5%
resulted means H0 is being denied and the conclusion is there is a significant influence from the use of Problem
Posing model towards the Ability of Mathematical Critical Thinking assisted by Software Wingeom of Students
at SMP Negeri 37 Jakarta with the criterion from effect size 0.4351.

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this research is to know the influence of discovery learning through geoboard to the students of
mathematical concept understanding. Hypothesis ini this research is: There is an influence of discovery
learning through geoboard to the students of mathematical concept understanding. The research was held at
Pabuaran Junior High School 4 in the even semester of the school year 2016/2017. This research used quasi
experiment type pretest-posttest design. Sampling technique using cluster sampling and get samples are 66
students. This research instrument is test of the students understanding of mathematical concept that have been
validity, reliability, distinguishing feature use and level of difficulity. Based on the requirement normality and
homogeneity, data are in normal distribution and homogeny. The result of counting the t count = 2,778 >
1,661 = t critical with significance level is 5%.

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this research is to know is there any influence of discovery learning trough geoboard to the
students ability of mathematical creative thinking. This research was held in Pabuaran Subang Junior High
School 1 in VII grade at the even semester of the academic year 2016/2017. Samples of this research are 66
students. This research used quasi experiment type pretest-posttest design. The validity test by using Pearson
product moment which are 10 valid questions. Reliability test result is reliable. The data for experiment and
control classes are normally distributed. As for the test of homogeneity varians is homogen. Hypothesis testing
is done by t-test with a significance level 5 % and be obtained t count > t critic which is 3.427 > 1.669, it
means H0 rejected. Hence, it can be concluded that there is an influence of discovery learning trough geoboard
to the students ability of mathematical creative thinking.

ABSTRACT
The research aims to find the influence of Open Ended approach to the students mathematical communication
ability. The research was be done at 3 South Tambun Junior High School in 7 th grade even semester, academic
year 2016-2017. There were 79 students as samples which taken by using Cluster Random Sampling. This
research used Quasi Experiment method type posttest-only design. The instrument try out by using validity test,
reability test, level of difficulty, and discrimination power. Normality test trough Lilliefors Test and homogenety
test using Fisher Test. The result of hypotesis test which use t-test was obtained tcount of 3,419 with significance
0.05. Then the influence was classifield with Effect Size was obtained 0,868 with criteria of high. the research
concluded that there was the influence of Open Ended approach to the students mathematical communication
ability at 3 South Tambun Junior High School.

ABSTRACT
The purpose of the study is to investigate the effect of Contextual Learning Approach using Cabri 3D software
on students mathematics connections ability. The research method used quasi experimental design with
comparison of static group. The participants of the study were eighty three 8 th grades at MTs Negeri 1 Bekasi
who were selected by using cluster random sampling. The instrument of the study is mathematics connections
ability test which has been confirmed for its validity and reliability. The collected data were analyzed using t-
test. The result of study indicates that students in experimental classroom outperformed students in control
classroom. It means that contextual learning approach using cabri 3D software has significant effect on students
mathematics connections ability in high effect size.

ABSTRACT
The development of this research aims to produce Android-based mobile mathematics learning applications to
grade 7 junior high school students, and to produce good quality products for use in learning. The research
method is research and development (R&D) adapted from ADDIE model, and used until the third stage, that is
development. Validation is done by material experts and media experts. The developed media was tested to
public by 56 responden. The results showed that Android-based Math Mobile Learning application that has been
developed based on the assessment of media experts in the aspect of display quality 83.3% with good category,
writing aspects of 75% with good category, and software engineering aspects of 81.25% overall app assessment
of 80.88% with good category. Material expert in material aspect is 90,38% and evaluation aspect is 75% so the
overall assessment is 88,3% with very good category.

ABSTRACT
The purpose of the researcher to know whether or not the influence of learning model type student team
achievement division (STAD) is supported prezi to student learning result of mathematics. This research was
conducted at 263 Junior High School Jakarta in the even semester of academic year 2016/2017. Method used
Quasi Experiment method. Sampling was done by using cluster random sampling. After exposure, then the data
is analyzed and the results obtained for the experimental class Ltest = 0.139 < 0.159 = Ltable and control class
Ltest = 0,138 <0,159 = Ltable is normal distribution. While homogeneity test obtained homogeneous variance.
Hypothesis testing is done using t-test with 5% significant level and obtained t test = 2.879> 1.670 = t table which
means reject H0. The amount of influence based on Effect Size calculation is 0.746. It can be said that influence
is classified as having medium effect.

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this research is to know the effect of creative problem solving learning models to the students
mathematical critical thinking ability and the differences of male students mathematical critical thinking ability
and the differences of female students mathematical critical thinking ability. The research used quasi
experimental method, with 88 students as the sample. The data of students mathematical critical thinking ability
was valid and reliable. The result test of the students mathematical critical thinking ability already meets the
requirements analysis and hypothesis test. The result showed that there is difference of male students
mathematical critical thinking ability and the difference of female students mathematical critical thinking ability
so, it can be conclude that there is the effect of creative problem solving learning models to the students
mathematical critical thinking ability with medium effect of effect size.

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study is to analyze the ability of students' mathematical reasoning taught by Realistic
Mathematics Education (RME). The research was held on Al-Wasilah junior high school Jakarta. This study
used an experimental quasi method, involving 37 students as a sample. The sample uses cluster random
sampling. The data of ability of students mathematical reasoning was valid and reliable. The result of the ability
of students mathematical reasoning already meets the requirements analysis and hypothesis test. The result
showed there was the effect of the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) of the ability of students
mathematical reasoning with the high level of the effect size. It can be seen from the average value the ability of
students mathematical reasoning who were taught with of Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) were higher
than the average ability of students mathematical reasoning who were not taught by the Realistic Mathematics
Education (RME).

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study is to know whether or not there is difference of learning result of student mathematics
between male student ant female student. This research was held at SMP Negeri 286 Jakarta, class VIII.1 until
VIII.4 in second semester of academic year 2016/2017. The sampel studied were 134 students consisting of 58
male students and 76 female students. Methods used in the study this is causal comparative. Test regulation is
test normality with Lilliefors and also test homogentity with using of test Fisher. Normality test for students
mathematics learning result obtained Lhitung = 0,1049 < 0,1163 = Ltabel while for the mathematics learning
of female students is obtained Lhitung = 0,0925 < 0,1016 = Ltabel it can be concluded that both samples of the
population are normally distributed. Homogeneity calculation results obtained F0,95 (58,76) = 0,777 <
Fhitung = 1,234 < F0,05 (58,76) = 1,280 this means that the two data have a homogeneous variants. The
hypothesis testing using t-test obtained t hitung = 3,266 > t tabel = 1,9797 with the significant grade = 0.05..

ABSTRACT
This classroom action research aims to improve the ability of mathematical concept understanding of students in
quadrilateral topic through cooperative learning model of STAD type. This research was conducted at SMPN
113 Jakarta clas VII C has 35 students in even semester of academic year 2016/2017. The method of observation
that used is classroom action research with Kemmis & Mc Taggart model through four section which are
planning, implementation, observation and reflection. This research show us that the average value of learning
result students of VII C class on first test which is 50,20 become 61,43 at first cycle, and it can be increased to
71,02 at the second cycle and it increased again to 83,16 at the third cycle. Thus, it can be concluded that the
cooperative learning model type STAD can improve the ability of mathematical concept understanding of
students in quadrilateral topic.

ABSTRACT
The aims of this research is to determine is there influence of learning constructivism assisted Cabri 3D to
comprehend mathematical concepts ability of student. The research was conducted at Junior High School 42
Jakarta for academic year 2016/2017. This method use in this research is Quasi Eksperiment method with The
Nonequivalent Posttest-Only Control Group Design. Population in this research as many as 179 students.
Sampling technique using Cluster Sampling as many as 61. This research instrument is test comprehend
mathematical concept abilities that have been validity and reliability. The requirement analysis test by normality
test that used the Lilliefors and homogeneity used the Fisher. Based on analysis test is data distribused normal
and homogeneity. The result of this research got t hitung is 2,88 with significance level = 5%. Thus,
conclusion of this research that there is an influence of Learning Constructivism assisted Cabri 3D to
Comprehend Mathematical Concepts Ability of Student with effect size as many as 0,71.

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this research is to know the effect of M-APOS learning model on mathematical communication
ability of grade VIII students at SMPN 174 Jakarta. The research method used is Quasi Experimental Design
with Post test Only research design, Non-Equivalent Control Group Design and using Purposive Sampling. The
population in this study is all students of class VIII SMPN 174 Jakarta. The research instrument is a test of
mathematical communication skill that has been tested. The data are normally distributed and have
homogeneous variances. The results of students' mathematical communication ability tests meet the prerequisite
test of analysis and hypothesis testing. This can be seen from the average mathematical communication ability
of students taught with M-APOS learning model is higher than the average mathematical communication ability
of students who are not taught with M-APOS learning model, so there is influence of M-APOS learning model
to students' mathematical communication skills.

ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine whether or not the influence of REACT (Relating, Experiencing, Applying,
Cooperating, Transferring) learning strategies assisted Wingeom software based students mathematical
reasoning ability. This research was conducted in SMPN 4 Pabuaran Subang in class VII even semester of
academic year 2016-2017. The sample was taken by Cluster Random Sampling by taking 66 students. This
research uses Quasi Experiment method the nonequivalent posttest-only control design type. Test the instrument
with validity, reliability, distinguishing, and difficulty test. Test requirement ie normality test with Lilliefors
test, and homogeneity test with Fisher test. Hypothesis testing using t-test was obtained count of 2,468 with a
significance 0,05. Then the influence was classified with Effect Size was obtained 0,586 with the medium
criterion. This research can be concluded that there is influence of REACT (Relating, Experiencing, Applying,
Cooperating, Transferring) learning strategies assisted Wingeom software based students mathematical
reasoning ability.

Intellectually) approach assisted Wingeom software based students mathematical reasoning ability. This
research was conducted in SMPN 4 Pabuaran Subang in class VIII even semester of academic year 2016-2017.
The sample was taken by Cluster Random Sampling by taking 55 students. This research uses Quasi Experiment
method the nonequivalent posttest-only control design type. Test the instrument with validity, reliability,
distinguishing, and difficulty test. Test requirement ie normality test with Lilliefors test, and homogeneity test
with Fisher test. Hypothesis testing using t-test was obtained count of 2,404 with a significance 0,05. Then the
influence was classified with Effect Size was obtained 0,610 with the medium criterion. This research can be
concluded that there is influence of SAVI (Somatic, Auditory, Visualization, Intellectually) approach assisted
Wingeom software based students mathematical reasoning ability.

ABSTRACT
This Study aims to determine whether there is any difference Visualization Auditory Kinestetic (VAK) Model
and Auditory Intellectualy repetition (AIR) Model To the ability of mathematical reasoning. The hypotesis of
study is There is a difference in the ability of mathematical reasoning with Visualization Auditory Kinestetic
(VAK) Model and Auditory Intellectualy repetition (AIR) Model. Normality test obtained Lcount = 0.111 and
the control group obtained Lcount = 0.069 Ltable in the experimental and control group is 0.150 because both
groups Lcount < L0.05(35,35) it is concluded that the data of both groups are normally distributed. For
homogeneity test obtained Fcount = 1.138 with F0.05(35,35) = 1.776, Because Fcount = 1.138 < 1.776 =
F0.05(35,35) , it is concluded that the variance of both groups s means that the sample comes from a homogeneous
population. Hypothesis test using t-test obtained t count = 4.679 at significant level a = 0.05 And degrees of
freedom (df) 68 obtained t count = 4.679 > 1.997 = t 0,975(68) then H0 is rejected. Thus H1 is accepted stating that
it is Difference VAK Model and AIR Model To the ability of mathematical reasoning at SMPN 103 Jakarta.

ABSTRACT
The students understanding mathematical concept ability is basic purpose of mathematics learning. With
qualified understanding mathematical concept ability, students would have great reasoning and problem solving
by themself. This study aims to know the effect of Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) to the junior high
school students understanding mathematical concept ability. The study was conducted at SMP Negeri 263
Jakarta in the even semester of academic year 2016/2017. The method used Quasi Experiment method. The test
instrument of understanding mathematical concept ability tested to 68 students that declared valid and reliable.
The studentsunderstanding mathematical concept ability test data have been analyzed and tested by using
prerequisite analysis and hypotesis test. The result shows that there is the effect of Realistic Mathematical
Education (RME) to junior high school students understanding mathematical concept with high category.

ABSTRACT
This research aims to determine the difficulties of learning mathematics experienced by students, know the
factors that cause difficulties in learning mathematics, and know the difficulty of learning mathematics between
male students and female students. This research was conducted in SMP Negeri 20 Jakarta class VIII of
academic year 2016/2017. Samples were studied with to 319 students consist of 176 female students and 143
male students. The method used in this research is qualitative. The sampling technique was performed using
stratified random sampling. Data collection techniques used are observations and interviews. Data analysis
techniques used are descriptive statistics. The research showed that the category for percentage of students
mathematics learning difficulties was still low, with the percentage of male students 35.09% and female students
32.97%. Factors causing difficulties in learning mathematics include factors that cause difficulties in working on
problems, internal factors and external factors.

ABSTRACT
This research used Quasi Experimental Design method. The instrument test of the comprehension ability of
mathematical concepts was tested and 10 valid questions from 14 test instruments. After the sample is treated,
then the data is analyzed and the results obtained for the experimental class = 0.091 < 0.152 =
and control class = 0.063 < 0.150 = is normal distribution. While the homogeneity test with the
results obtained = 0.779 < 1.78 = is a homogeneous variance. Hypothesis testing is done with t-
test with 5% level. Test results of = 2.104 > 1.669 = , which means H0 rejected. The result of
the effect test obtained with the calculation Effect Size obtained 0.476 with a moderate interpretation. Therefore,
the result of this study concluded that there is influence of learning by using mind map brain gym aided to the
ability of understanding mathematical concept of students.

ABSTRACT
This research aims to find the effect of learning model VAK (Visualization Auditory Kinestethic) to students
mathematical reasoning abilities. The subject of this research is the students of class X in SMA Negeri 10
Bekasi academic year 2016/2017. The sampling technique using Cluster Random Sampling is by taking two
classes as experiment class and control class. The method of this research is Quasi Experimental with the giving
of the instrument of mathematical reasoning ability at the end of the research. The result of the hypothesis is
t count = 5,323 > 1,667 = t table at the significant level of 0.05 and the magnitude of the effect is calculated
with the effect size of 1.081 and included the high category. This research concludes that there is influence of
learning model of VAK (Visualization Auditory Kinestethic) to students mathematical reasoning ability on class
X trigonometry material in SMA Negeri 10 Bekasi.

ABSTRACT
This research used Quasi Experimental Design method. The instrument test to the ability of students spatial an
mathematical was tested and 8 valid questions from 10 test instruments. After the sample is treated, then the
data is analyzed and the results obtained for the experimental class = 0.104 < 0.154 = and control
class = 0.104 < 0.154 = is normal distribution. While the homogeneity test with the results obtained
= 1.105 < 1.80 = is a homogeneous variance. Test results of = 4.658 > 1.670 = , which means
H0 rejected. The result of the effect test obtained with the calculation Effect Size obtained 1.12 with a moderate
interpretation. Therefore, the result of this study concluded that there is influence of learning by using in

ABSTRACT
This research aimed to know the influence in using Problem Based Learning model assist by software GeoGebra
to mathematical reasoning ability of students at Junior High School 5 Tambun Selatan. This research method
use pre experimental with design comparison of static group. The research was using cluster random sampling
experimen class and control class. For collecting data this research used test which consist of 7 items which
already valid and reliable. The data of the research have been tested for normality and homogeneity then
obtained the result of normal distribution and both is homogenous. Hypothesis test using test-t resulted =
5.460 > 1.667 = with significance 0,05 which resulted reject 0 . Which means there is effect of
Problem Based Learning model assist by software GeoGebra to mathematical reasoning ability of students. The
effect size value is 1,126 which has in high category.
