Data Scientist- Novigo Solutions (5-7 years Experience)

Job Description
Data Scientist will work closely with Novigos clients and internal teams on Analytics
projects. The candidate must have experiences of managing analytics projects, making
significant contributions to design of analytical approach for complex business problems.
The candidate is expected to possess good analytical, decision making and problem solving
skills. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a fluid and fast paced
environment.

The broad responsibility of the role includes-

Lead client engagements/projects with clients across multiple geographies.

Create impact for clients by applying diagnostic, predictive and prescriptive analytics and
develop impactful analytical solutions to solve business problems.

Identify opportunities, recommend and implement analytical strategies to drive client

business impact.

Understand the nature, structure and quality of data, identify data issues and send
solutions.

Execute planned analysis to meet project objectives.

Ensure on-time and error free delivery, proactively escalate and resolve issues when
required.

Subject Matter Expertise integration with Novigos platform/product/framework

development group.

Open to travel to client locations as necessary.

What are we looking for?

Essential Qualifications:

Bachelors degree (4 years of education, preferably engineering graduates)

Field of Education: Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science/Applications,

Operations Research, Statistics, Econometrics or similar quantitative areas.

Experience:

5-7 years of experience in analytics, execution, delivery and project management.

 Skillsets:

Knowledge of statistical concepts like Bivariate and Multivariate Analysis, Predictive

Modeling, segmentation, forecasting etc. is desired.

Expert on R.(Excellent coding aptitude is required)

Knowing Python is a plus.

Knowledge of any other statistical package like SPSS, Weka, etc. would be an added
advantage.

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office.

Knowledge of statistical concepts like Bivariate and Multivariate Analysis, Regression,

Predictive Modeling, Classification, segmentation, forecasting, etc. is desired.

Advanced Text Analytics experience

Hands-on Experience with Business Intelligence tools like Tableau or Power BI is desired.
