RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR

CELSO G. REGENCIA TO WAIVE THE PAYMENT OF HOUSE
AMOUNTING TO P22, 892.00 IN FAVOR OF THE MEMBERS OF
HABITAT HOME OWNERS ASSOCIATION LOCATED AT SITIO
KALUBIHON, BRGY. DALIPUGA, ILIGAN CITY

WHEREAS, presented to the body for deliberation was the 1st

Endorsement dated February 27, 2017 by Mr. Rodolfo F. Oloy, President of
Habitat Corehouse Homeowners Association, Inc., to request to the Honorable
City Mayor Celso G. Regencia to waive the payment of house amounting to
P234.89/sqm in favor of the members of Habitat Home Owners Association in
located at Sitio Kalubihon, Brgy. Dalipuga, Iligan City;
WHEREAS, the beneficiaries of Habitat Home Owners Association are
displaced families and survivors of Bagyong Sendong of Barangay Saray, Villa
Verde, Tibanga and other barangays;
WHEREAS, they were relocated at the said resettlement site by the
previous administration through the Housing and Resettlement Office (HRO);
WHEREAS, accordingly, the HRO asked them to pay the house and lot
under the following condition:
Lot: P234.89/sqm.
Half House Unit Cost: P22, 892.56
Payment: 15 years

Average of: 80/sqm

WHEREAS, since the houses built therein are very small for most of the
families, they ask for some reconsideration that the payment of the house shall
be for free, considering the status of their income, livelihood and daily needs of
their family for sustenance;
WHEREAS, in order to lessen their burden by paying monthly dues for the
small house the approval of the City Mayor Celso G. Regencia to waive the
payment of the house for free is very much helpful and advantageous on their
part;
WHEREFORE, on motion of Member Jesse Ray N. Balanay, duly seconded
by Member______________.
BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguaning
Panlungsod of Iligan City to REQUEST, as it hereby REQUESTS, the Honorable
City Mayor Celso G. Regencia to waive the payment of the house amounting to
P22, 892.00 in favor of the members of Habitat Home Owners Association
located at Sitio Kalubihon, Brgy. Dalipuga, Iligan City.
