Why is this here?
I think that this is here because
like it says in the lines before
John was there to tell of Jesus
coming. I think that it is
interesting because the writer
uses light, and I wonder what
the significance of this is?
Well before this it is written
that you have to place
everything in the Fathers
hands. I think this is saying that
if you dont then you will face
the Fathers wrath. I just think it
is interesting that God is
portrayed as being angry.
This is here to show that Jesus
was also moved with the people
and to show that Lazarus was
important to him. I wonder how
this disturbed him in the spirit?
This makes Jesus seem more
human instead of just being a
spiritual person above everyone
else. I just wonder why he
weeps if he knows he is going to
heal him, is it because he was
moved? I also think that this
sentence must be significant
since it is so short but strong.
I think that this is here because
it is important because unlike
the other guys Jesus was
already dead and they didnt
break his legs. I found it
interesting that they described

I think the light would be the
understanding that Jesus was
trying to share with those he
came in contact with. I dont
assign the power to him, but
the word he preaches.
Gods wrath also might just be
another way of describing and
understanding the mental block
you face if youre not spreading
good around. God isnt
vengeful, but you arent
enlightened when you break his
rule. This mightve been a scare
tactic too
Spirit being moral, I would
guess. When your spirits are
lifted, you are thought to be
happy. However, it is interesting
to think of Jesus, who had one
of the most firm beliefs in the
Word of God, falter from it.
I agree with you in the sense
that this makes him more
human. Its easy to relate to
human emotion. However, its
interesting to think he was
affected by something that
could arguably be error.
I, too, am curious about this.
Maybe its included to put
emphasis on the materiality of
Jesus, which would only make
his resurrection more
outstanding and iconic.

with fish on it, and bread.
how water and blood came out
and I wonder if there is any
symbolism?
This is when Jesus comes and
visits with the disciples and I
think it is interesting that on the
fire there is fish and bread
much like the story of the
loaves and the fishes and how
each person is provided for.
Exactly! I definitely agree that
there might be some ties to that
story, but it could just be the
diet they ate? Either way, I think
it must be important as they
included the details as to what
they were eating.
