Applications are invited for the following posts on contract basis in the Biologics Section of
Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC), (Autonomous organization under the Ministry of
Health & Family Welfare) at Ghaziabad, under the DST sponsored National Facility Project
titled Development of National Laboratory facility for setting quality standard for r-DNA
based therapeutics.

1. RESEARCH Essential:
ASSOCIATE (a) (i) Ph.D in Biotechnology with first class M.Sc in Biotechnology;

2. SENIOR RESEARCH Essential:
FELLOW (a) (i) M.Pharm, first class, with two years of relevant

FELLOW (a) (i) M.Pharm, first class;

(iii) M.Sc, first class in Biotechnology;

4. TECHNICAL Qualifications:
ASSISTANT First Class Bachelors Degree in any branch of Life Sciences or

Period of engagement:

The project is sanctioned for a period of three years and the term of the appointees is co-
terminable with the project. However, in case the work and conduct of the staff is not found to be
satisfactory, the services may be terminated without assigning any reason thereof.

General Instructions:

The Competent Authority reserves the right to accept or reject the applications without assigning
any reason.

1. No TA/DA shall be paid for attending the interview. It is not obligatory on the part of IPC
to call for interview every candidate who possesses the essential qualification.
2. Interested candidates, who have requisite qualifications and experience, may submit their
application in the prescribed format (attached) to Administrative Officer, Indian
Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC), (Ministry of Health & Family Welfare),
Government of India, Sector- 23, Raj Nagar, at Ghaziabad, U.P. so as to reach on or
before 8th November, 2017.
