Executive Summary

Taho (soy pudding) is one of the popular snacks in the Phillipines.


It is usually offered in the morning by the street vendors. Kids and other people live
in rural places recognized the vendors when hearing the word Tahoooo and people
will then prepare their money to purchase taho. The business will adopt the concept
of the local taho vendors and innovate different natural flavors that are healthy as
compare to some artificial products purchased in different groceries and
supermarkets. While the business will break the morning session culture of taho, it
will still preserve the values of giving the full satisfaction for its customers.

The following aspects will be considered to make this study feasible;

I. Organization and Management Aspect

The proposed enterprise will adopt a sole proprietorship form of


organization. It shall comply with legal requirements as mandated by the
government in order to operate the business. Hiring of personnel will
follow the selecting process through proper screening, interviews and
background checks. Each personnel shall be granted a basic salary as per
Wage Order No. RBIII-20.

II. Marketing Aspect

The target markets of the business are the health conscious and
those who loves products of soy such as tokwa and taho. The business
also targets those Patronizers and Potential Patronizers that usually
live in rural places in Tarlac City.
The competitors of the business are as follows; (1) Street Taho
Vendors (2) The powdered taho producers and other commercialized
brands (3) Business who offered alternative products. Basically,
competition in Tarlac City is not that high due to abundant supply of
commercialized taho.
Due to the abundant supply of taho in Tarlac City, the business will
do a backward integration wherein we manufacture its own taho raw and
its flavorings to maximize the potential taste of the product. The business
will follow food and sanitation procedures to avoid customer complains in
the mere future.

III. Technical Aspect

The soy pudding will be produced through mixing of raw materials.


The business will avoid artificial flavorings to promote healthy products.
The plant equipment will be purchased brand new since they are projected
to run in maximum of (7) years. The business will operate 360 days per
year scheduled at (8) working hours per day with the rate of production
volume of _____ for the first year of production.

V. Socio-Economic Aspect

Aside from the profits of the business, it has also other social
and economic contributions. For the government, it is in the form of
tax while for the people and it initiates the opportunity of
employment to the unemployed.
