1. recognize and articulate initial, medial and final sounds in single
syllable words:-
/w/ for wh, /f/ for ph
2. blend phonemes into recognizable words and read them aloud.
3. segments words into phonemes to spell.
Activities 1. Teacher introduces the phonemes /w/ for wh and /f/ for ph by
showing the graphemes on the word cards.
2. Teacher asks the pupils to say the sound wh and ph
3. Teacher shows some word cards and asks the pupils to blend the
words and read them aloud.
4. Teacher asks pupils to segment the words and spell them.
