EFT — Emotional Freedom Technique All types of household batteries will be accepted
Some of you may have seen on television (TLC) a few months ago a Paul McKenna using tapping
techniques and Thought Field Therapy (TFT) created by Dr. Roger Callaghan to help people eliminate (For example: Alkaline, nickel, cadmium, cell
food cravings. phone, and button batteries)
We recently met Dr. Gary Laundre, who wrote the book, “The Happiness Code”. This is based on NO lead acid automotive batteries.
EFT -- Emotional Freedom Technique, which is the latest version of TFT. The EFT can be applied by a
therapist or you can easily do it on yourself by reading and using the information in “The Happiness For questions please contact MSU Extension office at

Guardian Filter. This is not an actual physical structure, but rather it is a mechanism that filters information
between our conscious and subconscious mind. These filters are made up a & 4th Saturday of the month High School Parking Lot,
composite of our beliefs, past emotional traumas, past illnesses and head injuries. 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. - Fire Station/ 9800 N. Youngman Road.
If the information stored in the Guardian Filter is not accurate, we can react in Village Offices, 125 East Shaw
an inappropriate manner. Example: we may feel a height’s phobia from simply
watching a movie where someone is looking over a cliff. This misinterpretation
in the filter is what causes us to have emotional reactions that do not fit the
circumstance.
We are fortunate because Dr. Laundre lives and works in Grand Rapids. He will
see clients there if needed, but he said he actually preferred that people learn
how to use the methods in the book. That way, you are always in charge and you
can fix your self if needed. He also does smoking cessation and weight control
programs. Recycling brochure can be found at the MSU Extension website:
