week we presented our UBI mini lessons in class. Our mini lesson was made up
of a lesson plan, the TEKS that correspond with the lesson plan and a mini lesson.
We were to present our mini lesson using UBI and present it as if our peers were
our students. Our group decided to center our presentation on a second grade class,
which is why we decided to do it on the water cycle. Members of the group were in
charge of doing their separate part. My part consisted of doing the mini lesson
presentation and decided to do it on Genial.ly. I have used this website before and I
really like it. The presentation covered the basics of the water cycle (evaporation,
condensation and precipitation). I also included a song about what happens in each
process. We also provided a worksheet to our students. We wanted them to
correctly categorize and recognize the process of the water cycle. Overall, I truly
enjoyed this project because I felt like I was actually teaching a class. I also really
enjoyed UBI since it was easy to manipulate it during the presentation.
