The renewable fraction is the fraction of the energy delivered to the load that originated from

renewable power sources.

HOMER calculates the renewable fraction using the following equation:

where:
Enonren = nonrenewable electrical production [kWh/yr]
Egrid,sales = energy sold to the grid [kWh/yr] (included in Eserved)
Hnonren = nonrenewable thermal production [kWh/yr]
Eserved = total electrical load served [kWh/yr]
Hserved = total thermal load served [kWh/yr]

HOMER abbreviates the renewable fraction as "Ren. Frac." in the Sensitivity and
Optimization Results tables.
