El presente trabajo realizado por las investigadoras Licenciadas

Nancy Cornejo Alvarado y Juana Rojas Benites, sobre Autoestima y
Rendimiento Acadmico de alumnos de secundaria de IIEE. pblicas y
privadas, en la cuidad de Ilo, con el objetivo de establecer la relacin entre
la autoestima y el rendimiento acadmico de alumnos de Secundaria de la
I.E. pblica Mercedes Cabello De Carbonera y la I.E. privada Manuel
Gonzles Prada de Ilo-Moquegua y determinar si la condicin de pblica y
privada tiene alguna influencia en el nivel de autoestima que presentan los
alumnos de secundaria de la I.E. pblica y la I.E. privada de Ilo-Moquegua.
Se realiz con 211 unidades muestrales, a quienes se les aplic el
Inventario de autoestima de Stanley Coopersmith
Tras el estudio realizado las investigadoras llegaron a las siguientes
conclusiones:
Existe relacin entre autoestima y rendimiento acadmico.
Existe relacin nicamente entre la subescala de autoestima, de S mismo,
con el rendimiento acadmico.
No hay relacin entre las subescalas de autoestima de: Padres, escuela y
hogar-padres, con el rendimiento acadmico.
Los alumnos de las IIEE: pblica y privada, de la muestra, ambos arrojan una
marcada tendencia a una autoestima promedio; rompindose el esquema
comn de pensar que los alumnos de las IIEE. privadas tiene una alta
autoestima.
SUMMARY

The present work carried out by the Graduated investigators Nancy

Cornejo Alvarado and Red Juana Benites, on "Self-esteem and students'
Academic Yield of secondary of IIEE. public and private", in the you take care of
Ilo, with the objective of establishing the relationship between the self-esteem
and the academic yield of students of Secondary of the I.E. public "Mercedes
Hair Of Coal" and the I.E. private "Manuel Gonzles Prada" of Ilo-Moquegua
and to determine if the condition of public and private has some influence in the
level of self-esteem that the students present of secondary of the I.E. public and
the I.E. private of Ilo-Moquegua.
He/she was carried out with 211 units maestrales,a who were applied the
Inventory of self-esteem of Stanley Coopersmith
After the carried out study the investigators reached the following conclusions:
Relationship exists between self-esteem and academic yield.
Relationship only exists among the subescala of self-esteem, of itself, with the
academic yield.
There is not relationship among the subescalas of self-esteem of: You give birth
to, school and home-parents, with the academic yield.
The students of the IIEE: public and private, of the sample, both throw a marked
tendency to a self-esteem average; breaking the common outline of thinking
that the students of the IIEE. private he/she has a high self-esteem.
