How can you reduce your risk of getting HIV?

Anyone can get HIV, but you can take steps to protect yourself from HIV
infection:

- Get tested and know your partners HIV status.

- Have less risky sex.
- Use condoms correctly.
- Limit your number of sexual partners.
- Get tested and treated for STDs.
- Talk to your health care provider about pre-exposure prophylaxis or
PrEP.
- And, Dont inject drugs as much as possible.
