How can we break the steel grip of concealed sin habits? By turning to
Jesus with a contrite heart and placing the burden on Him in faith.
Jesus, you know these sins that now choose that I would like to be rid
of. Only you can help me overcome them. Please work in me to overcome
them by your Holy Spirit and help me to cooperate with you in this
process and to sincerely surrender to your work in me. Move me to a place
where I can surrender these things to you.

THE CHRISTIANS ANTEDOTES TO FEAR
Of men, situations, spiritual powers, death.
2 Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but a spirit
of power and love and self-control.
Psalm 27:1 The Lord is my Light and My Salvation, whom shall I fear? The
Lord is the strong tower of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
Psalm 23:4 even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I
will fear no evil, for you are with me.
1 John 4:4 Greater is He who is in me (Jesus) than he who is in the world
(Satan).
Hebrews 13:5 He himself has said, I will never leave you or forsake
you.
Matthew 28:20 I am with you always, even to the end of this age.
Psalm 32:7 You are my hiding place you will keep me from trouble.
Hebrews 13:5 Keep your life free from the love of money, and be content
with what you have; for he has said, I will never fail you nor forsake
you. Therefore we can say with boldness and confidence:
The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid; what can man do to me?
1 John 4:18 there is no fear in Love, but perfect love casts out fear.
For fear has to do with punishment, and the one who fears is not yet
perfected in love.
Psalm 27:14 Wait for the Lord; be strong and let your heart take courage;
yes, wait for the Lord!
Psalm 31:24 be strong, and let your heart take courage, all you who wait
for the Lord!
Isaiah 40:31 Those who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength.
4. Confidence
1. PRAY AND HAND IT OVER TO GOD AND ASK HIM TO DEAL WITH IT
Let Jesus take these burdens from you. Take them to Jesus put them in a
box and leave that anxiety with him. Nail it to his cross. Make a
declaration about it now! Say; God I take this anxiety that I am
suffering to you and right now I give it to you in Jesus Name and do
this every time you are confronted with it.
See it now.. your taking your anxiety to the cross and laying it down at
Jesus feet.
1 PETER 5:7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
PSALM 55:22 Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will
never let the righteous fall.
Pray! and receive his peace! Let him minister his peace to you.
JOHN 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you; not as the
world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither
let them be afraid.
3. REALIZE HOW MUCH GOD CARES FOR YOU AND GIVE THANKS TO HIM (PRAISE)
MATTHEW 6:34. God Cares for YOU! Therefore do not worry about tomorrow,
for tomorrow will have its own worries. Let the days trouble be enough
for today.
JOHN 15:7 If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you
will, and it shall be done for you.
COLOSSIANS 3:15 Let the Peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as
members of the one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.
PHILLIPPIANS 4:7 rejoice in the Lord always, I will say it again:
Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not
be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer with
continuous asking, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And
the peace of God, which is beyond understanding, will guard your hearts
and your minds in Christ Jesus.
ANTIDOTES TO DISCOURAGEMENT
3. Rest, Refresh and Relax. Jeremiah 31:25, Matthew 11:28. 1 Pet 5:7
4. Value! 1 Cor 15:58, 2 Cor 4:1. 2 Cor 9:6 Matt 13:46 Hebrews 12:5
(get perspective).
5. Give Thanks and actively PRAISE GOD - Show Gratitude- not for what is
bad but in anticipation of Gods goodness: Phil 4:6,Hebrews 12:28. Acts
16:22-26. Do not let the bad things that are happening overshadow your
knowledge of the Good things that God has done and is doing for you.
Praise him for these things despite any negative feelings.
6. Persevere (keep trying), Endure (keep going and dont give up) and
persist (be at it all the time): Matthew 10:22. Hebrews 12:1-12.
9. Defend your mind Trust again in Gods Goodness even though you
dont understand the why or how right now, rebuild the walls of your
faith that have been broken down. Get back up, dust yourself off and keep
going. Abide in him once more by speaking to him honestly about how you
feel and asking for him to minister his presence to you. Seek to serve
him rather than seeking what you want. Die to self. Re-assert your desire
to serve and please him over your own desires. Know that he will give you
the desires of your heart. Hang in there - Dont beat up on yourself
for failure, take it to Jesus and surrender to his love.
He also wants us trusting Him that He knows what is best for us at all
times.

CHRISTIAN ANTIDOTES TO FAILURE:
Keep going and dont give up encourage yourself. Cast of every weight
of sin that clings so closely.2 Timothy 2:19
Humility May take God time to break your stubbornness and pride and any
rebelliousness. Seek God to work in your life and possibly take a break
for God to deal with you (Period of Rehabilitation). Let your failure
lead you to humility. If it is possible for you to fix things then pursue
this (right the wrong). Spend time with God in prayer seeking for him to
deal with the sin in your life.
Restoration Pursue God for him to use you again in his purposes.
Give your sense of being wronged to God so he can deal with it. In prayer
come before him and present yourself to him; see him hanging there on his
cross having forgiven all those who wronged him and nail your anger and
right to feel wronged to his cross, share the way you feel honestly with
him and ask for him to minister healing and forgiveness to you by his
Holy Spirit Luke 11:13. Express your desire to release others from their
debt to you so that God can release you from your debt to him. Forgive
others so God can forgive you Mark 11:25.
Recognise the way you feel with honesty be real with yourself, also
recognise that God is empathetic and knows how you feel. But also
recognise that he wants the best for you, and holding onto and having
that anger damage you is not what he wants for you. The only way to deal
with anger is to keep handing it over to Jesus and dont entertain
thoughts of hate and revenge. You are only hurting yourself if you hold
onto these things. God has told you to hand it to him so if you dont you
are being rebellious. This is incredibly dangerous for you too; do what
serves you best; You need to hand your feelings of anger over to God:
Ephesians 4:26 and release your right of vengeance to God Romans 12:19,
Deuteronomy 32:35.
Share your feelings honestly with God in prayer. Recognise that though
others dont see the way you feel, God does. God knows what it feels like
to be rejected and disowned and to be lonely.
Seek Fellowship from trusted others in wisdom. Reach out in a wise way.

When we suffer trials and God seems distant it can be easy to blame God
for what is happening to us. God, why are you allowing this to happen? We
need to realise that despite how the situation looks and however hard it
seems to accept from our limited perspective, God is still good and in
control. This can be hard if our suffering is great and seems to have
taken a long time.
The first thing we need to realise is that even though God is allowing
these circumstances, they may or may not be what he wants. The Godly
approach to dealing with these situations is to acknowledge Gods
goodness and also to honestly and without blame acknowledge how we feel
about the situation to him in prayer.
We can pray like Jesus did before the trials associated with his death
that God would lead us out of this place. We can abide in him and ask for
his help and wisdom to deal with trials either to rebuke them or to seek
to cooperate with God in his purposes in regard to them. This does not
mean we welcome suffering, but we do not allow it to affect our
relationship with God in a negative way. Rather we see it as an
opportunity to draw close to him and pray for the negative circumstances
or afflictions to be removed.
Dont let your trials and problems become a stumbling block to your
faith. Even though you may not be able to see how things are working
together for your good, the Bible assures us it is so. No matter how
bleak your outlook on the situation is, do not let it deter your faith in
Gods goodness and trust in his purposes for your life. Rather make the
godly response of honestly expressing your feelings to God and asking for
his help continually again and again and again and again, over and over
and over and over until you get it. Think of Jesus who endured
crucifixion (it doesnt get much bleaker than that) and wrongful
persecution and execution.
