-HINGES - BUSHING AND PINS (CORROSION)
-PERFORM CLEANING OF LANDING GEAR WITH AIRCRAFT
ON JACK (SEE JIC

) PREFERABLY
WITH WHEELS AND BRAKES REMOVED.
NOTE: PROTECT THE WHEELS AND BRAKES WITH PROTE-
CTIVE COVERS IF THE AIRCRAFT IS NOT ON THE JACK
-APPLY 'ARDOX LEEDER 1900B' TO CLEAN ALL PAIN-
TED SURFACES USING A BRUSH OR A SPONGE.
NOTE: DURING THE WINTER PERIOD, THE LANDING
GEAR MUST BE DE-ICED BEFORE CLEANING TO AVOID
THE PRODUCT FREEZES.
-DO NOT APPLY CLEANING PRODUCT ON CHROME-PLATED
SURFACES AND HINGES AREA.
-PROTECT ADJACENT PARTS FROM RUNS AND SPLASHES
BY USING A CLEAN CLOTH.
-APPLY THE CLEANING PRODUCT ON THE SPIRES OF
SPRING AND BRUSH HARD.
-MAKE SURE NO CLEANING PRODUCT RUNS ONTO THE
SPRING ATTACHING PINS.
THESE PARTS SHOULD BE CLEANED WITH A DRY LINT-
FREE CLOTH.
CLEANING PROCEDURE
APPLY A THICK LAYER OF PRODUCT ON THE SURFACE
TO BE CLEANED BY USING A BRUSH OR A SPONGE
WAIT FOR APPROX.10 MINUTES.
RINSE WITH CLEAR WATER AND DRY BY COMPRESSED
AIR.
-WIPE WITH A DRY LINT-FREE CLOTH PARTICULARLY
IN THE AREAS LIKELY TO RETAIN HUMIDITY.
VISUAL INSPECTION
-CHECK FOR PAINT CONDITION
-CHECK NO CORROSION IS EVIDENCED ON STRCTURAL
PARTS OR ATTACHMENT PINS.
NOTE:MESSIER DOWTY MUST BE INFORMED FOR ADVICE
IN CASE OF PROTECTION DANAGE OR CORRODED PARTS.
CHECK FOR RUBBER SEALANT CONDITION.
NOTE:RECOVER DAMAGED BEAD OF SEALANT WITH THE
SAME SEALANT TYPE AS PER RELEVANT CMM.
CHECK FOR ABSENCE OF HYDRAULIC FLUID LEAKAGE.
NOTE: CHECK FOR CONDITION AND TORQUE IF PIPE
LEAKING.
-REPLACE PIPE IF LEAKAGE STILL OCCURS.
PROTECTION OF CHROME PLATED RODS.
LUBRICATE CHROME -PLATED RODS OF THE FOLLOWING
ITEMS BY MEANS OF HYDRAULIC FLUID
-ACTUATING CYLINDERS
-FREE FALL ASSISTERS
-UNLOCKING ACTUATORS
-SHOCK ABSORBERS.

1. TEST ALL A/C DOORS SWITXHES(CARGO, PAX,....)
AS PER RELEVAT JIC.
2. CHECK THE CONDITION OF THE DOORS, PAY PARTI-
CULAR ATTENTION TO EXPOSED HINGES.

1. CHECK THE CONDITION OF ALL FUSELAGE SKIN
AND FAIRINGS.
2. PERFORM A VISUAL INSPECTION OF GLIDESLOPE
AND RADAR ANTENNAS.
3. CLEAN AS REQUIRED THE FUSELAGE FRAME N1 ON
FORWARD SIDE.
4. INSPECT RADOME AND LIGHTNING STRIPS FOR
DAMAGE.
