When conver-ng frac-ons to decimals:
Divide the numerator by the denominator

*When the numerator is smaller than the
denominator, the frac-on is less than one, and the
decimal equivalent will also be less than one*

When conver-ng decimals to frac-ons:
1. Correctly read the decimal using place values
2. Write the frac-on exactly as it is said
3. Reduce as needed (by dividing the numerator and
denominator by common factors)
