Electronics is a branch of physics and an engineering that studies and employs systems that
it bases their operation on the conduction and flow control of the electrons from which their
name derives.
One of its main applications is in the design and construction of electronic circuits to solve
practical problems and to devise new technologies. Electronics today has an immense area
of application and can develop multiple tasks. The main uses of electronic circuits are process
automatic control, data and signal processing, distribution of information and the conversion
and distribution of electric energy.
Applications of this engineering can be generalized in three branches: control electronics,
telecommunications and power electronics. The control electronics is basically the one that is
in charge of managing a process and there are two types of control systems the open loop
and the closed loop, the open loop are those processes in which a precise result is not
needed, the another type is the closed loop where its output or result needs to be within a
margin of error and for this the output is measured with some sensor and this if it detects an
error sends a signal at the beginning of the process for correction.
Telecommunications are all types of distance communication such as radio, television,
telegraphy, telephony, data transmission, infrared, bluetooth and the interconnection of
computers through links or the internet. It is based on all types of transmission and emission
or reception of signs, signals, data, images, voices and sounds carried out through cables,
optical, physical or electromagnetic systems.
Power electronics is the branch that adapts and transforms electricity in order to power other
equipment, to carry energy, to control the operation of electric machines, etc. As for example
transform the energy received in our homes to a minor to use appliances that require less
energy such as cell phone chargers, computer sources, battery chargers, etc.
Electronics goes hand in hand with the evolution of technology, the micro and nano
electronica make the size and capacity of all the electronic devices that are in our
surroundings are of better quality, with greater speed of response, lower cost and size.
Adapting new ways to solve our needs in labor, academic, home and even human.
