Cte dIvoire (Ivory Coast) recently saw the
establishment of this new airline which is a
partnership between the Ivorian state that holds
65% of the shares with 35% being held by a
strategic partner made up of Air France (20%)
and Arienne de Participation-Cte dIvoire (15
percent).
The airline holding company represents the
Aga Khan Fund for Economic Development
(AKFED). The shareholders agreement and
articles of the airline set the initial capital at CFAF
2,5-billion (US$4,9-million) which will be
increased in the short term to CFAF 25-billion
(US$48,6-million).
