I. PROBLEM IN THE WORD:

Matthew 13:44
The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again,
and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field.

Ps 139:1-17

If there's someone who loves looking on us, watching us, catching us...

1. God is watching over us everyday.

2. God wants to catch us.
3. He is everywhere, he is near, he is with us

II. PROBLEM IN THE WORLD

What are the reasons why we have difficulty in choosing, pricing and valuing Christ
teachings, love and attention.

1. The "lost" attitude

When facing trouble, we sometimes feel so overwhelmed that the option we sometimes
CHOOSE is to RUN, not only from the problems but even from God. Admit it or not, we
sometimes feel empty that sometimes we look for something we want. We sometimes want to
explore, follow the directions against God. (e.g. Living on the standard of this world, too
technology oriented, following the teachings of this world thru the trends in social media)

Cause: Not founded in God's wonderful design/plan for US

Effect: We fall in Sin, it makes us feel ASHAMED, AFRAID, and UNACCEPTABLE to God.

2. The "Escaping" attitude

We feel like escaping the presence of God, thinking we can hide. Fear surrounds us, thus we
begin to doubt God and His word, looking for the answers elsewhere.

Causes: Poor and weak foundation of knowledge in Christ.

We choose to know worldly things, passions rather than His teachings.
Effect: We lose the right path.

III. GRACE IN THE WORD

1. So when troubled, I need not to RUN (Ps. 139:7-9)
2. When in Sin, there is no need to HIDE (v.11-12)
3. When afraid, no need to DOUBT (v.15)

When in joy, sadness, pain, God is still with US.

IV. GRACE IN THE WORLD

Reflection: Bilang isang Pokemon, malaya tayong mamuhay sa sanlibutan. Ang Diyos ang
pumipili at kumukuha sa atin pero hindi lahat sa atin ay tinatanggap ang POKEBALL na
inihahagis at inaalok ng DIYOS upang Siya ay paglingkuran at makasama.
Pero ang nakakalungkot dito ay na-captured kana ngunit hindi ka parin sumusunod sa Diyos.

Hindi pwedeng pagsabayin ang pagsunod sa Diyos at sa gusto mo. Hindi pwedeng nahanap ka
nga ni Lord, pero sa iba ka pa nakatingin, sa iba ka pa din sumusunod at naghahabol.
Hindi pwede ang 2-timer sa Panginoon. Kailangan isa lang ang hinahabol natin. Isa lang ang
pinaglilingkuran. Isa lang ang hinahanapan ng love!

Let us pray.

Now is the time to lay down your troubles, sins, fears before God. He knows them. In him we no
longer to run, hide, doubt, for He has catched us.God loves us in bad or good times. He sees us,
he loves us. He is near us. Amen
