failing him the Junior Warden, to summon the Lodge

absence of the W Master are covered in Rule 119, B
of C.

The Continuing Life of the Lodge
Having achieve your ambition to rule your Lodge,
do not let yourself think that your service to it has
ended. You are now one of the Brethren to whom the
younger members look for encouragement an
example, just as you looked to your seniors as you
climbed the ladder of promotion.
You will almost certainly be a member of the
Lodge Committee and it is to be hoped that you will
attend whenever possible and give it your fullest
support.
You should also continue to be an active member
of the Lodge of Instruction. It is only fair and
reasonable that you should repay all the help and
guidance you have received by passing it on in turn to
those who will follow you.
The Lodge depends in so many ways on the
support of its Past Masters and there is no reason at all
why you should drop out of circulation. Accept gladly
any job that you are asked to do, be it great or small;
for example if there is nobody else to take the Minutes
of the Lodge of Instruction, then the newest Past
Master is an obvious choice. As time goes on you
may well settle in an office that gives you particular
pleasure. Be sure that your continued and willing
presence will always be valued.
