PROPOSAL TO ORGANIZE DEEPAVALI FESTIVAL IN PUSAT
PERMATAPINTARTM NEGARA

1.0 Objective

The students of PERMATApintarTM wish to organize a Deepavali Festival in Kolej

PERMATApintarTM Negara to know Indian culture and promote unity among the
students from different cultures.

2.0 Information

This Deepavali Festival is open to all students who are interested to know more about
the Indian culture. Students will be given a brief introduction about the history of the
Deepavali Festival. They will also play games which are played during the festival and
halal-certified Indian food such as murukku and vadai will be served too.

3.0 Details

Date: 06th October (Friday) 2017

8.0 Justification

We plan to hold this festival at the auditorium. This is because this festival uses space
for the performances and the presentation session. It is also the best place for all students to
gather. We propose to set the date for this festival on 06th of October 2017, which is a Friday
before the Deepavali holidays. This festival will be held from 8.30-12.30p.m (station
activities) and 8.00-10.30 pm (Deepavali night). We plan to organize this festival on a Friday
morning so that the time allocation will longer and the students will gain more knowledge
about Indian culture and their traditional. The Moral students of Kolej PERMATApintarTM
and Asasi will prepare all the materials and food needed. We will also ensure the safety of all
students throughout the activities.
